Funjet Vacations Launches Industry-First Nationwide Virtual Trade Show

MILWAUKEE, September 12, 2007 – Funjet Vacations has unveiled a breakthrough in training technology for travel agents. A nationwide industry-first, the Funjet Vacations Virtual Product Launch (VPL), is a Web site that enables access to Funjet Vacations and supplier’s product information and sales content 24/7. 

All agents can experience the latest and greatest that Funjet Vacations and suppliers have to offer directly from their desktops.  Funjet Vacations is bringing the VPL to the marketplace to meet the growing demand from agents for product training. With a national scope of products that encompasses charters, value flights, scheduled air and land vacations, this new Web site brings agents more information they can use to book the perfect, unforgettable vacation for their clients.

According to Tom Brussow, director of Business Development at Funjet Vacations, the VPL will create one centralized location for travel agents to navigate unique content from one source. Much like a traditional trade show, agents will ‘visit’ supplier booths to view product presentations and access brochures and sales flyers. Agents can also choose to attend virtual breakout educational sessions, all with a few clicks of a mouse.

 “VPL replicates the trade show experience without having to leave the office” said Brussow. “The site offers an extensive virtual trade show floor with more than 50 suppliers – including live Web chats opportunities – and makes more information and tools accessible to the entire travel agent population 24/7.”

Funjet will introduce the Virtual Product Launch with two nationwide online events on September 25 at 5pm CDT and September 26 at 7pm CDT at www.FunjetVacationsProductShow.com. During these designated times, Funjet Vacations and several sponsors suppliers will have live chats available for travel agents to interact with company sales executives.  Agents can also order brochures, access e-brochures, and view and print promotional flyers and participate in Funjet Vacations “Learn and Earn” incentive to earn bonus Fun-Jets, free trips and merchandise.
