Baggage Storage - As of November 2009, the Luxor Bell Desk will no longer hold guest baggage over night. Guests leaving for over night tours of the Grand Canyon and other attractions will be required to take all baggage with them.
Pool-Winter Hours - Beginning November 16, 2009 the Pool will be closed for the season. During this time Luxor guests will be able to use the pool at Excalibur by showing their Luxor room key. The Excalibur will have 2 pools open throughout the winter months. One pool will be adult only and the other all ages. Cabanas will be available for rent during this time as well.
Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act
Nevada voters have passed the Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act that prohibits smoking in many indoor public spaces. As a result, the new statute permits smoking in only four areas: smoking designated hotel rooms, gaming areas of the casino floor, retail tobacco shops, and certain stand-alone bars and night clubs where food is not served.
Smoking is not permitted in any other indoor public space, including: restaurants, lounges where food is served, hotel lobbies, elevators, guest room hallways, theaters, arenas, arcades, retail stores, meeting and convention areas, and other indoor public spaces.
