Real Resorts started working in 1984 as the travel agency Best Day Tours with the engineer Fernando García Zalvidea as founder. Its main activity was to sell the first personalized tour. Thanks to that, now we represent 36 concessions in hotels of Cancun and Mayan Riviera, representing 120 wholesale agencies in the United States, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, France, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay and Mexico.
The hotel management company started operations in 1986 with the Kin-Ha Condo-hotel during 6 years. Subsequently they acquired Gran Costa Real in 1993 getting a good place between clients and wholesales; and the first place in occupancy in 1995, 1996 and 1997. Real Resorts has now an annual average of 90%
The engineer Garcia's great vision of giving service with love, combining the all inclusive and the Room Only plans (European Plan), appease the growth of the group with the opening of the Gran Porto Real Playa del Carmen on November 11 th. 1997 in Playa del Carmen. This hotel gets annual occupancy over 93 %. In the same way, Gran Caribe Real opened its doors for the first time on February 15 th 1998 having a great occupancy until now.
