How they met:
It was 1973 and my last year of high school when my friend and I had a double date. My friend's partner that night is my wife today.
18 years after our double date, I saw her at a local restaurant looking about as young and beautiful as the last time I saw her. After reminiscing, we went dancing and that started our life's journey toward being together the rest of our lives.
Wedding bells:
We wanted to give her children and mine plenty of time to come together and get to know each other, so after 5 years, and at the suggestion of our kids, I finally asked her to marry me. I was old fashioned and got down on one knee at our favorite restaurant.
After our family only wedding, we took a Funjet honeymoon to Puerto Vallarta, came home and brought our kids into one very loving household. We've been married for over 10 years, watched our four children grow into adults, and were blessed with a special bond of friendship.
What makes this their dream honeymoon:
This spring our son returned home safe from two tours to Iraq, our oldest daughter graduated college and is getting married this September, and our youngest daughter graduated from high school. With two children done with college, one done with the army, and one more college to go, its time for Charlotte and myself to see the part of Disney World we didn't see when we took our children there. - Robert |

How they met:
"When I first met my fiancé last year, I literally met an angel. No, really...You see, we were working at a theater where he was playing the role of the Angel Gabriel, so when I first saw him in rehearsal he was strapped to pulleys and wires, dangling in the air with wings on his back. No matter what types of roles he plays onstage however, good guy, bad guy, or even "Angel"...in real life, this man is my Prince. We fell in love throughout our year-long contract at the theater and when it was over we kissed each other with tears rolling down our faces as I went back to my hometown, and he, to his." - Jenny
Wedding bells:
"I flew to Texas and proposed to my girlfriend on April 17, and the week after, I entered this contest. Our wedding is November 8, and we plan to take the trip right after that. We want to do as much as we possibly can! We are really excited about the pool at the Grand Floridian and the spa treatments! Jenny is crazy excited about going to MGM and I'm crazy excited to go to Epcot. (I've never been to Epcot and Jenny says the different countries are awesome!)" – Aaron Daniel
What makes this their dream honeymoon:
"When my fiancé asked me what my ideal honeymoon would be, I immediately answered, "Disney World." I told him I had always wanted to go to a Disney Resort. I felt a little sheepish later that evening when I realized that it just wouldn't work out with our budget. My sweet fiancé would go to the ends of the earth to bring me my hearts desire, and I knew it hurt his heart to tell me that Disney World just didn't seem like it would be a possibility. Well, lo and behold he found the Funjet and Disney World contest and spent hours making our video and encouraging ALL of our friends and family to vote. You absolutely made our dreams come true by granting us this honeymoon wish!" – Jenny |
