EUROPE TRAVEL PROTECTION PLAN

• Trip Cancellation/Interruption:
  Reimburses unused arrangements should you need to interrupt your vacation because of illness or injury to yourself, a traveling companion, or family member of either; jury duty; subpoena, home made uninhabitable, or a traffic accident on the way to the airport.
• Travel Delay Reimbursement:
  Reimburses additional transportation costs or unused vacation days should your flight be delayed 12 hours or more by inclement weather, strike or other job action, or equipment failure; a traffic accident en route to a departure in which you or your traveling companion is not directly involved; or due to lost or stolen passports, travel documents, or money; quarantine; hijacking; natural disaster; civil commotion, or riot.
• Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation:
  Arranges and pre-pays the cost of emergency medical transportation should a serious illness or injury during your vacation require your medical evacuation.
• Medical Expense Reimbursement:
  Reimburses medical costs should you incur hospital charges or other medical bills as a result of an illness or injury during your vacation.
• Lost/Stolen baggage or Personal Effects Reimbursement:
  Reimburses you for baggage or other personal items lost, stolen, or damaged during your vacation.
• Delayed Bags Reimbursement:
  Reimburses for the purchase of necessary personal items if your bags are delayed by the airline for more than 12 hours.
• Flight Accident Protection:
  Insurance in the event of accidental death or dismemberment while on board your flight.
• Worldwide Emergency Travelers Assistance:
  Services of Travel Assist should you experience medical, travel, or legal problems of an emergency nature during your vacation.

To Purchase Europe Travel Protection:
For Europe vacations, the Europe Travel Protection Plan will automatically be added to your reservation and will show in the total price. If you do not wish to purchase this protection plan, just de-select this option before completing your booking.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You can only purchase the above vacation coverage option during the booking process. You cannot add travel protection after your reservation has already been made.
• Payment for the travel protection is due with initial payment.
• Children under the age of 2 do not need to purchase the coverage when their parents purchase it for themselves.

Coverage Information:

• Provides a refund of cancellation penalties when the cancellation is for a covered reason as defined by policy number 2727-9500288. The policy is National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA and is administered by BerkelyCare, a division of Affinity Insurance Services, Inc.
• Medical/baggage delay/trip interruption/baggage benefits plus 24 hour emergency assistance.
• Change in departure dates constitutes a cancellation and the customer may file a claim with Berkely for the amount of penalties held back if they cancelled for a covered reason as defined by the policy.
• Coverage is subject to a Pre-existing Condition Limitation.

What is NOT covered:

• Revision Fees
• “No Show” situations defined as failure to cancel the travel arrangements prior to departure.
• Increase in per person cost due to change in room occupancy.
• Trip Cancellation or Trip Interruption claims due to an airline ceasing operations due to a bankruptcy will not be covered. Medical/Baggage/24 hour assistance are still valid.

Insurance Benefits:

• If you cancel for a COVERED reason you may file a claim with BerkelyCare, the Plan Administrator, to receive a refund of any nonrefundable airline penalties which are not refunded by the Vacation Provider.
• This refund will come from BerkelyCare.
