PENALTY WAIVER

• Cancel for Any Reason:
  You may cancel for ANY reason prior to airport check-in and receive a full refund less the cost of the Penalty Waiver. The Penalty Waiver does not cover a refund for scheduled air penalties and non-refundable airfares. The refund is made in the original form of payment.
  

  • NOTE: If you upgrade to our “Complete Coverage” travel protection plan, you can cancel for any reason and receive a full refund on your vacation (minus the cost of the travel protection), regardless of the type of airfare – it even covers normally non-refundable airfares!

• Price Guarantee:
  Guarantees the lowest price on the vacation! If the price of the hotel drops after booking the reservation, just let us know and we’ll adjust the reservation to the lower price. Valid on Mexico, Caribbean, Hawaii and Costa Rica vacations. More details
• No Revision Fees:
  All Funjet imposed revision fees are covered if you need to make a change to your reservation. More details
  

  • NOTE: The Penalty Waiver does not cover supplier-imposed revision fees such as airline or hotel-imposed penalties when making a change to your reservation. We recommend upgrading to our “Complete Coverage” travel protection plan which waives any revision fees if you need to make a change.

To Purchase the Penalty Waiver:
The “Complete Coverage” travel protection plan is the default travel protection plan that will automatically be added to your vacation (except for air-only, Europe and ski vacations) and will be displayed as part of the total price for your reservation. If you wish to purchase the Penalty Waiver instead of the “Complete Coverage” travel protection plan, just de-select the “Complete Coverage” from your reservation and select the Funjet Vacations’ Penalty Waiver from the Add-Ons screen before completing your booking.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You can only purchase vacation coverage options during the booking process. You cannot add after your reservation has already been made.

Additional Notes:

• Funjet Vacations must be notified of the cancellation prior to airport check-in in order to be eligible for a refund. Contact your travel agent or Funjet Vacations at 1-888-558-6654.
• The following items are not covered Pre-Departure:
  • “No Show” situations where the traveler does not check in and denied boarding situations are not covered.
  • Air not purchased from Funjet Vacations and non-refundable airfares.
  • If the number of individuals occupying a room decreases, the remaining travelers will be responsible for additional costs incurred as a result of a change in the per person occupancy rate.
  • Nonrefundable travel agent fees may be included in your package price. Please consult your travel agent.
• Some scheduled air carriers offer published air fares or non-refundable bulk air fares. If these fares are purchased, the cost of the airline portion of the reservation is non-refundable and are not covered with the Penalty Waiver. Some airlines may allow reuse of a non-refundable airline ticket within 365 days after date of issue by paying a re-ticketing fee imposed by the airline. Re-ticketing fees and airline revision fees are not covered by the Penalty Waiver.
• We recommend purchasing our “Complete Coverage” travel protection for our most comprehensive coverage.

To Obtain a Cancellation Refund:
Please contact the Funjet Vacations’ reservation department directly at (888) 558-6654 if you need assistance to cancel your reservation. All cancellations must be confirmed by Funjet Vacations’ reservations department prior to departure.

A refund will be processed, less the cost of the Penalty Waiver to the original form of payment.

Price Guarantee Details:

• If the price of the vacation goes down after making the booking, the Penalty Waiver entitles you to receive the lowest price in the following instances:

  • Scheduled Air** and Hotel-Only Vacations: Price Guarantee applies on the hotel portion of the vacation.
  • Charter/Value Flight Vacations:* Price Guarantee applies on the air and hotel portion of the vacation.

• The price guarantee only applies to Mexico, Caribbean, Hawaii and Costa Rica vacations.
• If the price does decrease, please contact your travel agent or Funjet Vacations at 1-888-558-6654.
• The price adjustment must be made to the reservation while the lower rate is available in the system.

No Revision Fees Details:

• All Funjet imposed revision fees prior to departure are automatically waived and available for unlimited use on the reservation so long as the Penalty Waiver remains on the reservation.
• If you to revise any portion of your vacation prior to departure, supplier-imposed fees such as airline and hotel revision penalties are not covered.
