- Trip Cancellation/Interruption:
Reimburses cancellation penalties or unused arrangements should you need to cancel or interrupt your vacation because of a covered illness or injury to yourself, a family member, or traveling companion; jury duty; subpoena; if your home is uninhabitable by natural disaster; or you are involved in a traffic accident on the way to the airport.
- Travel Delay Reimbursement:
Reimburses additional transportation costs or unused land arrangements should your flight be delayed 12 or more hours due to inclement weather, strike or other job action, or equipment failure of an air common carrier.
- Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation:
Arranges and pre-pays the cost of emergency medical transportation should a covered illness or injury during your vacation that requires medical evacuation.
- Medical Expense Reimbursement:
Reimburses medical costs should you incur hospital charges or other medical bills as a result of a covered illness or injury during your vacation.
- Lost/Stolen baggage or Personal Effects Reimbursement:
Reimburses for baggage or items lost, stolen, or damaged during your vacation.
- Delayed Bags Reimbursement:
Reimburses for the purchase of necessary personal items if your bags are delayed by the airline for more then 12 hours.

Services provided by Travel Assist, Inc., should you experience medical, travel, or legal problems of an emergency nature during your vacation.

Insurance is underwritten by National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA, a Pennsylvania Insurance Company (NAIC #19445), under Policy Series 52735MO, with their principal place of business at 70 Pine Street, New York, NY 10270, and currently authorized to transact business in all states and the District of Columbia. Purchase Information:
- This is an optional non-refundable feature.
- The protection plan must be purchased by each person on the booking.
- This feature must be purchased at the time of booking.
- The cost of the protection plan is due with initial payment.
- Children under the age of 2 do not need to purchase the protection plan when their parents purchase it for themselves.
Coverage:
- The protection plan will reimburse clients for non-refundable payments and deposits for covered reasons.
- The protection plan is only valid on ski & mountain vacations booked through Funjet Vacations as defined below.
- The protection plan will NOT cover revision fees.
- Coverage applies to Activities-Only reservations.
- The protection plan will remain valid after revisions have been made to reservations outside of penalty.
- The protection plan will remain valid after revisions have been made to reservations inside of penalty except when departure dates change. In this case, you will be given the option to purchase a new protection plan on the new reservation.
- Trip Cancellation/Interruption claims due to an airline ceasing operation due to bankruptcy will not be covered. However, all Medical, Baggage and 24-Hour Assistance benefits would remain valid.
