Wait until construction is completed or you will be sorry.
Do NOT hook this hotel until the renovations are finished or you will be sorry there is LOUD noise 6 days a week. The pool is gone . The patio where the banks play and dinner tables are set up for Dukes are done . The finished floors are nice but the constant jackhammering make it hard to enjoy . The elevators routinely stop at floors undergoing construction . Our room was new and beautiful but it was not enough to make us happy there with the noise and dirt z call and verify you have a pool, concierge. And quiet time before you book. And our new mattress was crushed in one corner probably during the transport process . They never fixed it . Just spun it around. Lazy. room 822 be aware

Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort- OH NO!!!!
OMG!! What in the world were they thinking of when they renovated the rooms at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort??? No more closet!!! No place to hang up any clothing. Women want to hang up their dresses or light jacket. No more dresser to put your clothing. Just a couple low drawers under a bench seat. 👎 The sink area is now exposed to the bedroom. No more privacy there!! Ugh!! I can’t believe a new room design like this would ever be approved! Shame on Outrigger. We’ve been coming here for years, but probably not anymore. It also would have been polite of Outrigger to email us ahead of our trip to tell us the entire lobby with shops and pool will be closed starting the day after we get here. When I made my reservation, they had no specific date for pool renovation. It’s so sad to see these beautiful rooms turn out to be so dysfunctional. We’re lucky enough to have a great view, but other than that, the rooms are no longer practical or user friendly. 😢

Oct 01, 2026Enjoyable stay and the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort
We had another wonderful stay and were impressed by how many staff members went above and beyond to make our visit memorable, even with the ongoing renovations. The construction around the pool and Voyager Club was noticeable, but the exceptional service more than made up for it. Holly at Duke's provided outstanding poolside service and was always friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Benjamin and Peter did an amazing job managing the pool area each day, making sure everything was organized, fair, and enjoyable for all guests. Their hard work and positive attitudes were greatly appreciated. We also rented surfboards from Faith Surf School throughout our stay, and Clark and Roy were fantastic. Clark always made sure I had the right board, was incredibly accommodating, and provided consistently excellent service. Roy was equally friendly and helpful, and both made the experience easy and enjoyable. Although Voyager Club was closed for renovations, Gigi and Fio still took the time to greet us around the resort and check in on us during our stay. Their kindness and genuine hospitality did not go unnoticed. We also appreciated having access to the Voyager Club experience at the Reef and enjoyed the food, drinks, and beautiful patio views. What stood out most about this stay was the people. The warmth, professionalism, and genuine care shown by the staff made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our vacation. We are already looking forward to our next trip and are hopeful that the renovations will be completed by then. We are excited to experience the upgraded facilities and hope any future rate increases remain reasonable and reflective of the overall guest experience.

Absolutely memorable stay
The front desk girls were absolutely amazing! They made our trip so memorable. The room was absolutely amazing. Beautiful view and the upgrade rooms are perfect now . Love the sensor light to the bathroom. Housekeeping was so sweet and always welcoming. Two turtles were hanging out in front of our hotel every day in the water . Breakfast at Dukes was so delicious. We were going to going to stay somewhere else this year but I’m so glad we didn’t. Easy access to beach and street for walking and shopping. The other hotel takes to long to get to either .
