Always enjoy our time at Mohagany Bay, we've been here 4 times over 2 years. Miguel at the restaurant was superb, very attentive, and a pleasure to be around at every encounter.

The experience was great. Great customer service. The waiter mr. Miguel was excellent and exceptional 👏 👌 🙌 rooms were comfortable and made me feel at home while being far away from home.

Feels like staying with family
Mahogany Bay provided an excellent home for our first stay in Belize. Our timing was great because we stayed just before the busy season started so we had no wait for tables at the restaurant or chairs at the pool and the weather was beautiful. The property is in good condition overall but the staff is what really makes it feel like home. Alan helped with luggage and drove us around the property and to meet our snorkel tour, always with a friendly smile. Trisha at the front desk was happy to help any time we needed anything and quickly arranged for us to be moved to a new room when we discovered our water heater wasn’t working. She also helped coordinate our snorkel tour when there was a miscommunication with the tour company so we were still able to see the beautiful marine life in the barrier reef. The private beach is lovely and KenRoy busted his butt making sure everyone had everything they wanted. Miguel, Mikal and Vivian provided excellent service at the restaurant and pool bar. They decorated for Halloween even though they don’t celebrate the holiday. It was a fun, festive atmosphere with live music and decor. Yes, there are bugs but that’s what bug spray is for. All of the staff we encountered provided a warm smile and asked if we needed anything in the most genuine way possible. I would be delighted to come back!

Super friendly staff and food was excellent.
From the moment you enter the resort, we felt welcomed. Shout out to Alan and Lovenia B. (front desk) and all the waiters for taking care of us. We ate at the Main Restaurant several times because the food was delicious (caesar salad w/ lobster, burger, crispy fish tacos, chicken stew w/ rice and beans and potato salad, pancakes with toppings, etc). The resort is nice. Our bungalow was conveniently located so it was a short walk to the coffee shop and general store which came in handy. The private beach is a short 10-min boat ride away and tons of fun - hammocks and cabanas over the water with free kayaks, floaties, and paddle boards. Pro tip: use the green alcohol if you get bit by mosquitoes!

We had a lovely time at Mahogany Bay. This vacation gave us plenty of time to relax. The highlight for us was Miguel C. His kindness and service made our mornings! We explored San Pedro, secret beach, and the beach club. Everyone we met was warm and welcoming. October is a great time as it’s a slow season… may be the best time to visit again! See you next time Miguel.
