Breezes Cruise Day Pass
I visited Breezes on Sunday, December 8, 2024 on a day pass while on a Cruise stop. The day pass was $100 pp. Taxi from the port was $60 r/t and about 15 min from the Port. Check in was easy, front desk staff was very friendly. The property was clean with a beautiful beach. Chairs, towels, drinks and food was included. The bathroom was clean, pool area was clean. The bar staff and buffet staff was not very friendly or attentive, the food was very mediocre in the buffet, minimal food options, the cocktails were not good and minimal liquor added if any. We did enjoy the beach. Ultimately not worth the amount paid, I wouldn't recommend this resort or revisit for a longer stay.

16+/Good food/Dated rooms+resort/Nice beach/Limited drinks/TERRIBLE WIFI/ Convenient bus to downtown/Not heated pools
Stay = Two adults : mom 60 and daughter 32yo from Canada Room : very partial ocean view + two twin beds. No balcony, and our sliding doors were broken, so couldn't open. Good : - Small resorts : 200 rooms -Very friendly staff (but slow) - 25$ coupon offered at checkin to use in the hotel store or spa -Wine and food were good : absolutely nothing fancy (do not expect any sushis), but it tasted like homemade meals from the caribbeans -snack bar at the pool/near beach : burgers, fries, salads, hotdogs, conch fritters (must try) -animation team -hot tub and ping pong table -inside the lobby there'a a tv, board games, pool tables and a human size chest game - concierge to book activities available : we didn't use -if you go downtown : pricey taxi. take the bus, in front of the pink building instead. 1.50$ pp = gets you right next to the Straw market (main attraction) -extremely clean and pretty big room: clean towels/bedsheets, shampoos, soaps, big shower with very hot water everyday -adjustable AC -very nice walk to the pier/marina and the hotels next door, which you can enter easily (huge casino and fancy shops) -water and beach : very few algea, althoug it was cold in november so we didn't really swim much - only 3 restaurants (+ buffet) , but all very good : italian, asian and vegetarian/middle east. again, not fancy, but tasty -good cleaning service, although one lady threw away something that wasn't supposed to, so do not leave anything lose if you don't want to lose it -safe in the closet : fixed to the wall. No thiefs/nothing stolen. -blowdryer Bad : -very bright sun in the morning (all sides of hotel) : curtains not covering it all - thins wall : could hear the neighbors and hallway sounds -no ceiling fan in the room or bathroom -no minibar/fridge in the room (didn't ask for any). Water bottles for purchase only. No glasses/ice bucket neither. -only 1 usable electrical outlet in the room area, and it wasn't close to the bed. 1 extra in the bathroom where the blowdryer was - no ironing board - only 3 restaurants - no watersports available at all : try the one to the hotels (Bahamar) next door. Paddleboarding was fun -Construction noise onsite at the time. Tolerable, but still was. - Old furniture inside and outside -not much shade, but very nice guy from the pool installed us umbrellas twice at the beach -Jet skis noise and smell because of public beach -- > right next to us <-- (there was a collision and seriously in jured child one day) -some people coming from the cruiships, coming for the day at the resort = less chairs -no waiters on the beach : gotta get up and get it for yourself - all restaurants service was extremely slow : no one never came back for any refills. dirty tables for a while - the food at the buffet was good, but cold because the containers were plastic instead of metal, so it wouldn't stay warm. we advise and suggested to them - only one night we had very fancy food : because it was Thanksgiving - only the buffet is available in the morning : exactly the same food everyday, except for pancakes/french toast swap. canned fruits and one milk choice - the hotel store is dated, small and not refilled (for what we saw) : old clothes, souvenirs, fridge with drinks and few alcohols, basic hygiene items -wedding service not available -couldn't find the spa anywhere -used to be a starbucks : closed. now open at Bahamar -jewelry store closed -vendors on beach - pools not heated -No food available between 5:30-6pm (snack bar closes at 5:30 and buffet opens at 6) -Terrible wifi everywhere except in the rooms = we had to get up from the beach, go in our room or in the lobby to get the connection. Do not go to this resort if you want to work, or do calls everyday. -Bloodymarys without Worcestershire -Sunset early : no sun anywhere on the resort past 4:30ish -Night entertainment is correct : very good band. some nights there was karaoke -I do not suggest at all to come here to have fun and get drunk with friends: very calm Extras : We had to switch room the first night because the thermostat was broken and the AC was stuck at 68 and super cold. At first, the front desk didn't want us to move until the morning because "they had no room available at this time" , but the repairmen called them directly to help us. Of course, then they had a room for us! This was extremely disappointing. The hotel was probably only full at 20% at that time. Some rooms seemed unavailable because of the construction. It was our first time, and we are not convinced we will be back because of the deceptions previously stated. This hotel probably needs to be shut down for a while and be 100% renovated. Do not come here if you have expectations. I've traveled quite a bit, and in many all-inclusives: this is much more an hotel with some amenities. I would only suggest this hotel if you are looking for nice weather and calm. We would come back for : good food, friendly staff, nice beach/sand/water, location and calmness of the resort. Sorry, I do not have any photos since I wasn't going to show them to anyone, considering how dated the resort is.

Property looks back Nostalgically at its better days. However It is well maintained and has great team that make it worth vaca
This property is older but well maintained. All the staff are great. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The food is good. The location is great. Check your expectations at the door and you will enjoy your stay. I felt safe at this place. The beach was for the most part clean. However, there was plastics littered everywhere along the front of the resort. This included a motor oil jug, plastic pail, rope, cups, wrappers and broken down plastics. I would recommend the resort invest in a tractor to.rake the beach front and remove all the plastic and seaweed in the mornings.

Great all-inclusive option on the beach!
This is a great option for those who'd rather not overspend at the next door Baha Mar! Food was very good, drinks were strong and the beach is terrific! Yes, the property is dated in some areas, but more importantly, everything was spotless. Would go back!

Dated property should have a Michelin Star!
The property is somewhat dated. Furniture old and dented, curtains in our room torn and dirty along the floor. Odd urine like smell in our room, mold/mildew smell very noticeable on the first floor and in the piano bar. This is too bad because the staff are absolutely fantastic. Kudos to Shane and Jaimee in the dining room for outstanding service, and a Michelin Star to Sandra in the kitchen for the wonderful food she prepared. This lady knows her way around the spice rack! Food in the buffet was usually cold and this did not do justice to the cook's work. The Entertainment crew do an excellent job with various activities, but need to understand that not everyone wants to hear extremely loud music in the pool area from mid morning until evening with no break. Sometimes it was deafening. Did ask management at the front desk to have them turn it down but nothing was done about it. More glasses in the various bars would be good, drinking Prosecco out of a plastic cup is not the same. Beach is lovely, about an hours walk from end to end. Breezes is good value for money, but they need to update the physical spaces in the hotel.
