    Good for budget travel

Pros: Good value for an all-inclusive resort, beachfront location, plenty of lounge chairs available, day time activities, has an onsite tennis court and small fitness gym, free nightly entertainment, and beautiful garden grounds. Cons: The food is not that good. I would compare it to hospital cafeteria food. The costumer service at the restaurants is very poor. The entire property is in desperate need of repairs and updates. The entertainment was repetitive - the same performer the three nights we were there. They used to have complimentary kayaks and a trapeze years ago but they did not have them anymore when we stayed. Spring breakers and student groups are allowed. This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel, with my family, and I was very disappointed to see that it has become very run down compared to our first visit, about 12 years ago. I would describe it as a choice motel rather than a "resort." The worst part was that we were there during grad week so our trip was ruined by loud and rowdy teenagers and drunk young adults. Do yourself a favor and contact the hotel before booking to make sure you are not there when there are confirmed student groups. Despite its flaws, this location is still a good value for anyone wanting to have the Bahamas experience while on a tight budget. Just beware that, as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for."

Bad Management and Bait and Switch on features.

The actual workers are great and genuine. The management is horrible. We had a guest throw our beach bag in the pool as they were stumbling down drunk. They mid level management accused us of neglect of our bag. I spent two days finding out who did it. and then pushing the management to do something about it. Ms. Minn was dismissive and Ms. Frazer was smug and downright disrespectful. We were not allowed to talk to the general manager until day 3. He seemed to be better and promised to refund us for the time we lost doing their staffs work. I have yet to see it. I will be reaching out to Breezes corporate to let them know the story. All of this could have been avoided if the Management staff was trained better. Also while saying the grounds are smoke free, they do not enforce this and there was smoking all around. In the 4th floor all the rooms reeked of Pot. They also did not have half of the things outlined in the advertisement.. No Circus school, No Water Sports, ....etc It felt like a huge bait and switch.

    Will not return

This trip was an economical choice and it showed. The shower had very little water pressure and even would stop. The toilet handle broke. Our weather was bad or we would have been outside more. But even then it was a fight to find an umbrella. It was never a peaceful get away. The DJ or band was playing all the time. You couldn’t find a seat when the buffet was open. We had to eat with others just to have a place to sit. We had to pour our own drinks at dinner at service was lacking. Only when got up to find some silverware did they ask what we needed. It was like that at every meal. The only thing we enjoyed was the piano bar. Kudos on that but it’s not enough. We would not recommend this resort unless you are a spring breaker and you don’t care about flushing your money away. Next time I’ll spend more!.

    Would not waste my money

We were out at this resort by Delta after a canceled flight. Our initial room smelled so badly of mold our breathing was impacted. The vents had mold in them. We requested a new room which was at least not filled with the smell of mold. Both rooms were severely outdated and in need of major renovations. The staff is very friendly and did their best to accommodate us. The buffet was good both at dinner and breakfast. In the end we booked the Hyatt and moved as soon as we could for our remaining day until we could get our flight.

A+++++++experience ! Michelle at Breezes is the best!

During our recent stop in Nassau on our 7 day Carnival Cruise, we decided to venture off the beaten path and spend the day at Breezes Resort. What an incredible decision that turned out to be! The resort was absolutely amazing, with a gorgeous beach, a beautiful pool, and an all-inclusive setup with complimentary drinks and food. The conch fritters were a standout—delicious! Bartenders were very friendly and accommodating as well. Our entire family had a fantastic day, but as we headed back to the ship, we realized my daughter had accidentally left her brand-new iPhone—just one week old—wrapped in a towel on the beach. With limited time, we couldn’t go back to retrieve it and assumed it was gone for good. We called the hotel hoping someone maybe turned it in, but nothing showed up. Enter Michelle, an extraordinary staff member at Breezes. The very next day, she called us to let us know the phone had been found. Since we were already en route to our next stop, Michelle assured us that she would personally ensure the phone made its way back to our home in Florida. True to her word, Michelle kept us updated throughout the process, communicated with such kindness and professionalism, and went above and beyond by sending the phone back—refusing to accept any payment or reward. Michelle’s honesty, dedication, and exceptional service left an indelible impression on us. People like Michelle remind us of the goodness in the world, and we are forever grateful to her for turning a stressful situation into a heartwarming experience. Breezes Resort is not only a stunning place to relax, but it’s also staffed by amazing individuals like Michelle who truly care about their guests. We highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Nassau—A++++ experience all around! Thank you, Breezes, and thank you, Michelle!
