Jun 17, 2025No water every day. ‘Nuff said. Nightmare
Imagine checking into a hotel and them casually saying as they slide your keys across the counter “Oh, by the way, no water in your room all day.” Huh? Wait…Aren’t I paying $800/night?? *smile* That’s correct sir! Don’t book here. And with this kind of underhanded lack of communication, don’t ever book here. I can’t even flush my toilet. And when the water is on….wont even get warm enough for a shower. They helpfully offered we could use the gym shower if we wanted. $800/night Save yourselves. Stay away. Cancel if you still can. Tell your friends.

Jun 04, 2025Close to the Parks, But it's Going To Cost You
The rooms are very small and in need of updating. For $900 per night, I expected a lot more. Don't expect Disney-level accommodations. The staff seems like those at any other hotel. Their interactions with you seem mechanical and they don't really go above and beyond. However, the hotel is pretty close to 2 of the Universal parks so it's really convenient. The water taxi to the City Walk is nice as well.

Overrated, Dirty and Unethical Management
Quality of room was dirty. Management treats customers as nothing more than cattle. If a customer complains about a lack of service, issues with room or any negatives, management has a well trained staff of deflectors and say the right things, but don’t ever DO the right things. Never return would be a change or improvement. Hard Rock is incapable of improvement as currently manages.

Visited today - ordered 3 adult meals and a kids meal. My daughter asked for lemonade and instead of being offered a kids drinks which was part of the meal she was given a ‘homemade lemonade’ at a cost of $9.50 plus tax with no offer of a kids drink. Server was not friendly either. Would not return because of this

Needs some TLC
Great location and landscape. We were on the 2nd floor and it needed some TLC. Heavily-stained carpets, walls. Didn't look like a $900 a night room. Staff was friendly. I was under the impression we got early entry into Universal Studios. That is not the case.
