Jan 09, 2025Breathless New Years Eve 2024/2025
This was our seventh year back for new years and Breathless punta cana did not disappoint. We always look forward to seeing the crew that work the freestyle pool and they treat us like we our their family. If you are there be sure to say HI to Angel, Kelvin, Carlos ,Melvin ,Robertson, and crew. I promise they will take care of you. The resort is very clean all the staff are friendly and the food is pretty good as well. For new years they throw a huge party with live music and a DJ. We have stayed at many resorts over the years but for now we will continue to go back to breathless for new years.

Breathless Punta Cana
Willy is the best butler and the ocean is the best waters around. Room service is great, pool is awesome. The bars are awesome, Food needs to be better would be be my only complaint overall a great time and atmosphere, I would recommend this resort.

DR resort -Breathless
We had a wonderful time. Stayed for 5 days. Great food, great amenities and entertainment, our room was spotless and updated, our concierge was most helpful as well- Gricelda. Will definitely be back to another Breathless resort in the future.

Jan 08, 2025The only consistency was the inconsistency of the service
This was my fifth trip to Breathless and probably my last. The bright spots were the New Year's Eve (NYE) buffet and Milagros and Yesenia at the Wink Bar were phenomenal!! The steak house and the French restaurant are really worth it! When I checked in, the person at the front desk was not friendly. This is not new, as EVERY time I have checked in, the front desk people are not friendly. I asked if I could upgrade and she was extremely rude and it felt like I was bothering her by asking. In years past, we loved the fireworks at midnight on NYE and the absence of this was glaringly missing. Housekeeping was a mess! I came in on December 30. On the 31st, my room wasn't clean when I got off the beach at 4pm, so I called the front desk, they said they would send someone. After an hour, I called again and they said they were coming. I had to grab someone who was doing turndown service to clean my room. The next day my room wasn't cleaned at all. I finally went up to the front desk, and the first question after explaining that I had no service for two days was "do you have your 'Do Not Disturb' sign on?" Really? After that, I had no issue, and in fact a complimentary bottle of champagne was sent to my room. There were way too many children on the beach and wandering around the resort. Breathless is advertised as adult only, but this is simply not true. Guests from Onyx next door who were CLEARLY underaged were often there. Again, this was my 5th trip and the highlight for us was the Hibachi restaurant because of the food and the show. The food is still excellent, but there was no show and we were rushed through the dinner. It's the little things that make a vacation and that was a glaring little thing that was missing. Overall, I enjoyed my vacation...it's the Caribbean! But if I am going to spent thousands of dollars on an all-inclusive, adults only resort, Breathless is now on the bottom of my list and I doubt if I return.

Very fun resort
This is a very fun resort, expect to party and for the noise level to be high. The beach is beautiful and the resort is clean with good food and strong drinks. My only complaint is if you are a non smoker, it's hard to escape the smell of vapes and cigarettes.
