Great family experienc
This complex is very large with I think five hotels on one site ,however it never felt crowded rooms were very spacious and well equipped restaurants were all good, especially the fine dining la museum. Although I didn’t like other guests being allowed in there with T-shirts, shorts, caps and flip-flops! One of the reasons we chose this hotel was there are plenty of tennis court’s and we managed to play every day with games being arranged by the excellent coach, Nestor Who was excellent, very accommodating and knowledgeable. something you very rarely find in hotel complex is these days. The staff were excellent throughout the hotel, very hard-working and polite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of a family holiday.

Wedding of Dreams For 75 People
I spend 10 days at the Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo as my husband and I had our wedding there! We had 75 guests, and we all had a fantastic time. Our Wedding Coordinator, Fernanda, was phenomenal. She communicated well with us for over 6 months, writing us extremely detailed e-mails, answering all of our questions, and helping us plan our wedding. Both my husband and I could not have pictured a more perfect day, and she had a lot to do with it! Everything was so well planned, and our guests had such a great time! Antonio was our photographer, and you could tell he was experienced because he captured a lot of photos and was able to navigate several people in and out of photos in a short duration - it felt easy and organized. He was also really kind and very respectful. We have a sneak peak of our photos and are so excited to see the final versions. They were great. The resort is huge, which I loved, because there's an opportunity to see a lot of different areas, and I like to stay active. If you choose, there are carts that regularly run and they can drive you to the lobby, restaurants, etc. Our wedding was child friendly, and the kids had a blast in the different pools, various playgrounds, watching the entertainment, and going down the waterslides. The resort was clean and every evening the staff cleaned the pool decks and vacuumed the bottom, so there was never any sand floating around. Our room was cleaned daily, and the staff were respectful of our personal items, only tidying but never moving things around. The food was the best part of the resort. Our guests commented that the food was great, and we had a few "picky eaters" on our trip. The Star Cafe is open 24 hours for a quick snack if you're hungry, which was great. We also got our morning coffees from there, daily. If you are eager to book the A La Carte restaurants, I recommend doing so early on so that you're able to get a reservation. We didn't have any issues getting to try various cuisines, but some folks that waited until the last minute couldn't get in to their choice of restaurant. Shout out to Augusto at the Seafood restaurant who kept us entertained and chatted with us while refilling our drinks! The entertainment was okay, but we've had better at other resorts. Since it's a child friendly resort, the entertainment was more geared towards children, with the exception of the Chiefs Game, which was packed! I don't enjoy staying out late anyways, so this didn't matter to me, but if entertainment is a big thing you're looking for, I'd explore a few options. That being said, I'd rather have fantastic food and a clean resort with friendly staff than a bit more entertainment. We visited the Spa for hair, make up, and a couples massage, as well. Daisy was my hair and make up artist and she was great. I had a few changes I wanted to implement to my make up after our trial, and she was receptive to the feedback and made the changes for my wedding day. I was super happy with how everything turned out, and thought she was lovely to work with. Our couples massage was also relaxing. It was a "plus" that at this resort, we were never harassed or pressured to buy into any type of "exclusive membership". We went to a resort in the Dominican last year and the Plus Member folks were extremely aggressive. None of our guests had any issues and we were so grateful. The only thing I'd change about the resort is that the lobby has a strong scent that is overwhelming. It's not a bad smell, it's quite nice, but there is too much of it. Overall, we loved our stay at the resort and couldn't have imagined a better wedding day. All of our guests had positive things to say, and we want to return in the future! A few of our guests are also eager to return, so we are hoping we can plan a trip next year!

Family focused all-inclusive with a tropical jungle vibe
My family (me (pregnant), my husband, and toddler) stayed at Lindo January 13 to 20, 2025. Tldr; We enjoyed the resort, and would recommend it to other young families. I already looked to see if I could book another trip there next year. The lobby at Lindo has 'wow factor' with fountains and ornate fresh floral displays. The other lobbies do too, in their own ways, and I took many scenic walks through the resorts just to take it all in. The best part about the resort for me were all the wildlife sightings: flamingos, monkeys, swans, peacocks, lizards, coatis, hawks, racoons, etc. The flora was gorgeous and I felt like I was somewhere remote in a jungle at times. The food was a close runner up, aside for some lackluster items at the buffet here and there. Our favourites were Lemon and Spices (mahi mahi and shrimp skewers, chocolate mousse dessert), Under the Sea (try the octopus!), and El Museo (duck). The room was nice and we enjoyed having a patio space. It was ground level which was perfect for a pregnant person pushing a stroller everywhere. We didn't like being opposite the housekeeping door where they would stack bins of linens loudly in the early morning. We spent most of our time in the pools, water park pirate ship, and playgrounds (pablo paraiso mall park and star camp family time), and some time at the beach, although the ocean was rough and not friendly for our little one. We took the shuttle to playa del Carmen and that was the only excursion we wanted to do this time. We hired a babysitter who helped us have a few dinners just my husband and me, and we likely would hire a babysitter again to help us have some alone time. You can search the group for my comments on that. We enjoyed the pool at Del Mar with the shallow water for our toddler to walk all the way from one end to the waterfall jacuzzi. I'm sure when our kids are old enough they'll love the waterpark at Lindo. My husband found them a bit much, and didn't use them as much as he thought he would. He also pushed me through the lazy river as the current wasn't strong. Some bad: We felt the staff here weren't as friendly as another resort we stayed at, but it didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves. The fruit was abundant, but no fresh mangoes at the buffet and a reduction in other tropical fruit items compared to another resort. The double beds were quite small and one of them had a big crater in the mattress. Mosquitos were around. I left with four bites and should have used more bug spray. Towels to save seats... People would leave them there all day without sitting at the chair. Lunch options around 12:00 noon were limited other than beach burger and taco bar and star cafe. It was frustrating with a little one to have to navigate that. I could smell cigarette smoke and weed at times walking through the buildings to my building. These are things the resort isn't managing well.
