Was not informed bungalow was 2-story and rooms on each side. No insulation in walls and ceiling. People above me extremely noisy all hours day and night. Could hear other guests talking walking dropping crap on floor having sex all hours day and night. Grrrrrr Credit card charge for 500.00 deposit. Have not received a refund/credit yet. Very disappointing. I will not come back.

Gretchen, our front desk staff, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. She was always attentive and asked how we were, providing us with recommendations for places to visit and things to do. She even helped us with our trolley and car rentals. The rooms were amazing bungalows that were clean and conveniently located near the ocean. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it. A special shoutout to Gretchen for her exceptional hospitality.

Termite Takeover
We stayed at the Royal Lahaina in Maui for a week on our honeymoon. From Sep 21st-29th. Staff was nice but days into our trip we found termites in our room. (Rm 8014) Termites were all over our clothing and bags. When we brought this to the hotels attention they had us switch rooms and gave a 200 credit.. yay. We were left to pick off termites from our clothing for hours. PLEASE check your room thoroughly before bringing your luggage in. Our stay definitely did not live up to our expectations. Very disappointed considering we spent thousands of dollars.

After I checked in we left the room to use the pool. When we returned we noticed the entire room (bed, bathroom counter, table counter) was infested with ants. I called the front desk to let them know and was told housekeeping would be on their way. Few hours later, no one showed up. I tried to call front desk to inquire if someone was going to show up. No ONE answered me. Very disappointed. Didn’t even offer to switch rooms during our day stay.

Roach motel hell
Charged us $450 price gouging for a room of roaches with no power. Not very clean.Oudated and has an odor.
