They clearly cater to a certain type of people... and it wasn't me.
Not for me. Stayed 7 days - The salsa isn't spicy. And they had 4 choices. Not ONE of them can be spicy? - Breakfast buffet is the only place you can consistently get Mexican food. This is because it is the time when the hotel's sales team is presenting to potential members. So you know they gotta put on a show. Complete opposite during lunch buffet. Lunch buffet = not so good - Mexican restaurant called Picante isn't open every night, so if you're looking to go to Mexico to eat Mexican food, this ain't it. - Oh! But they do offer other restaurants that serve other cuisines if you're not looking to eat Mexican food in Mexico. Italian, French, Asian, and Middle Eastern/Mediterranean. There's also a restaurant called Fishnets that is not a seafood place. Weird... - Hotel is small, they utilize rooftop space because of this. - No servers during post-dinner entertainment to take drink orders. So if you're a solo traveller, best sit at the crowded bar instead. Table seating will be taken as soon as you get up to get another drink. - No post-dinner entertainment. They don't have a theatre. Their version of entertainment is a DJ every single night after dinner from 8pm-11pm. Then MORE DJ when the night club opens 11pm-3am. I couldn't believe how bored I got of that. - Let's talk about the night club. On the first night the DJ thought it would be a bright idea if he said "WHITE PEOPLE! HOW YA'LL DOING TONIGHT!". I walked out. As a POC, I don't need to hear that. Ever. Went back for a 2nd time during the week and the music was terrible. Didn't go back after that. Ended up taking an Uber downtown to go to clubs there. - No sports bar. So if you're looking to have a chill night: have some drinks, shoot some pool and eat some carne asada nachos, this ain't it. They only do club-environment. - The BEST thing they got going is the spa besides the incredible masseuses (get Johanna if you can!). If you have the upgraded package; Access to their facilities:hydrotherapy, wet and dry sauna, and access to their relaxation room are all included. I went to the spa 3 times because I was obsessed. - ATM works sometimes. I got cash out of it once. All 4 other tries? couldn't get cash. Don't be like me, come prepared. - 2 pools, one on the rooftop, and one on the ground floor. Bonus rooftop pool for VIP/Member guests. But the VIP pool is boring: no DJ and less people. It's quiet and boring up there. The regular rooftop pool was my favorite. Look for Alejandro, great server up there.

AMAZING!! Worth every penny
If you’re thinking about going to Breathless GO!!!! Our stay was amazing. The employees gave us the best experience. Upgrading to Xhale was worth every dollar!! Shout out to Robinson and Erik from the xhale lounge, they made our experience so much better and their hospitality was 10/10. Armando from the xhale rooftop made the best drinks for us !!!!! He also made us feel at home and gave us an amazing experience we couldn’t wait to go see him everyday. Our friends from Fish Nets Alduar and Carlos gave us the best service, we couldn’t resist going back and the food was amazing. I want to thank everyone at breathless for the amazing experience 10/10!!!!!!!!! We will definitely be going back!

Don’t book
Rooms were not luxury like pictures. Our room never got cool even after complaining several times. The icing on the cake was roaches yes roaches on the curtains. So disappointed and disgusting and front desk had the nerves to say the roaches are in their natural habitat and harmless. We paid lots of money and roaches are disgusting and gross. Will never recommend this place never. Harassed about 90 minute presentation. VIP lady kept staring at us like we didn’t belong. Disgusting and exhausting experience

Xhale Club was mediocre
The Xhale club is nice if you want to use the infinity pool at the top of the building and have a chill quiet vibe, but be aware, even paying top dollar for the Xhale club doesn't get you out of a surprise fee for the hibachi table at Silk City. It's $65 per person if you want to use that. And the breakfast (Xhale club only) at Silk City didn't happen on multiple days because of a group that rented it out apparently. So we were turned away 3 days because of that and had to eat at the regular buffet. No notifications/warnings either, just turned out with a "sorry". The bars and energy are nice, the cafe is awesome for coffee and deserts, and I would go back, but only on the Xcerlate Club because the other rooftop pool had great energy, dance music, and was more lively. And I could save $400+.
