Good, but not a repeat destination
Location - 3* About an hour from the airport, with winding roads and narrow ways, 2 out of us got a little nauseous. Our departing flight was at 3.10pm, but because of the distance we had to leave the resort at 11am, so an entire day was gone. Price - 4* One of the reasonably priced all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean Islands that came with full butler service Staff Friendliness 5* Definitely the highlight of the entire trip. We were 8 girls, 6 of us vegetarians. Limited choices on the food menus but most of it was delicious, but the Food and Beverage managers, Vijay and Manvendra made super extra effort to make special vegetarian dishes available for us. Wait staff - Hilda, Tasha, Carlton, Nicholas made us feel extra special, every night. Bartenders - Alison, Jonathan, were very friendly and courteous Rooms 3* We had booked the Pent House (Rm # 2121), not knowing that we would need to climb up 108 steps and winding slopes to get to the stairs before we get up to our room. No golf cart, no elevators, no additional facilities to get up there. Room service took ages to get up there and god forbid they forgot something!! We felt very very sorry for the staff who had to hike up and down several times a day. Especially the bell staff with all that luggage. Recommendation - 1. Please make it very clear at booking that a big slopy walk and stairs are involved in getting up to the higher rooms. 2. Make available Golf carts or buggies for guests and staff. The 2 story Penthouse was gorgeous once we got up there, breathtaking views of the hills and bay, wide vast balconies in every direction, spacious and clean rooms, big and spotless bathrooms. In spite of the beautiful room, we had to request a downgrade to room on the bottom levels. We were moved to Rm 1301/1302 after the first night. Good rooms, clean bathrooms and a few steps from the pool. However there was a nasty smell in the bathroom (from the windows) smelled like a dead mouse. The staff was told several times, but the smell stayed with us all through the stay. Please be mindful that the electric plugs are 220v and not compatible to the USA ones, take a convertor as most of the plugs in the room including the USB chargers for the phone barely work. Our blow dryers, flat irons etc. will blow out if you don't have proper convertors. Housekeeping -5* good housekeeping service and friendly staff, they came every night to turn the beds down and prepare for the night. We got fresh towels whenever we requested them. Cleanliness of Property, Pool and Grounds - 5* Good landscaping and many many flowers in the gardens, pool was clean, restaurants were clean. There was however a swampy smell at times on the restaurants closer to the water. Beach -2* Very tiny beach, had to take a free boat ride back and forth. Friendly boat staff though. Free Kayaking, beach towels and beach chairs. Food - 4* The only reason I gave this a 4* because, of the extra effort the staff took to make us vegetarian food. Very limited menu, but everything on the menu was delicious. I think the resort could use a couple more restaurant choices like an Asian, Mexican etc. Drinks Selection / Wine Selection - 2* House wines definitely need a upgrade. Pool bar drinks, very sub standard, the glassware on the pool bar need better cleaning, they had a smell and oiliness on them. The first day we were there the bar had no fresh limes or mint, we had to get them from outside. Restaurant Service 4* The friendly staff made it up for the limited menu and slow ... very slow service, everything was fresh and nicely seasoned. Salads were fresh. Butler Service 5* Our butlers - Rochel and Gimil made our stay super special. They were very attentive and very very friendly. Took care of our restaurant reservations, excursion bookings room services, complaints .. everything we needed during our stay. Neil and Erika took care when the other two were off duty. Special shout out to gardener Jason and maintenance guy Kurt for arranging everyday for us fresh fruit from the gardens and limes and mint from outside for our cocktails Overall 3.5-4*

Relaxation at its Best
The scenery is absolutely stunning. The smell of the seaweed takes a little getting used to, but it comes and goes. The majority of the staff were very friendly, and the butlers that catered to us were absolutely amazing, especially Gimel and Rochel! (Seriously, I'd come back just to listen to their jokes.) All of the bartenders were hilarious and friendly as well. It's not a party scene; it's a very relaxed environment, which is what we were looking for when we booked. But, there's still a lot to explore even off the resort everyday, and, depending on the package you purchase, a lot is included that you should take advantage of as much as possible. The layout of the resort is beautiful; we had a nice secluded room that made things more romantic and private. This was one of the more expensive suites. The suites aren't far from the "center" of the resort, but the landscaping definitely challenged our cardiovascular system everyday. So, depending on what kind of room you book and where it's located, it could be a brief but steep climb with quite a few stairs. I will definitely keep this location in mind if we ever have the opportunity to return.

Zoetry review St lucia
Rochel, Gmel, Shula, both Allisons, Jonathon, Neil, Mr Scott and last but not least Hilda were amazing. May our stay great. Super Friendly and accommodating. The singer in the lounge was awesome too. Despite walking the treacherous hills and stairs and waiting along , long, and i mean long time for dinner at the restaurant with singer. Everything else was Awesome. Thank you so much everyone. Had a great time.u

Zoetry Marigot Bay
The staff was all very friendly however it seems like they are short staffed. The common areas on the resort are beautiful but the rooms definitely need some TLC. Floors are pretty beat up and mirrors in the bathroom needed replaced. Food was really good but options are very limited. You can take a ferry to a beach across the bay, however it’s not much of a beach.
