Nov 06, 2025Beautiful and SO Convenient!
Our party of 4 adults stayed in two adjoining rooms, and we were thoroughly impressed. The rooms were beautifully appointed and extremely clean. Each room included a small fridge and a keurig coffee maker; regular and decaf coffee pods were provided, along with sugar and creamer packets. We were in Tower 2 facing the entrance to the hotel, with a great view of tropical landscaping and Islands of Adventure in the distance. Check-in was easy, and you use your room card key to get into the parking lot. The walkway to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure is beautiful and felt extremely safe; the walk took less than 10 minutes, but we took the boat taxi one day just for fun. The bus ride to Epic took maybe 15 minutes. Having the Unlimited Express Passes at Univeral and IOA was fantastic, and we were able to do and see everything we wanted to with one day at each park. The cost of each room is not unreasonable when you consider the cost of the included Unlimited Express Passes. We picked up sandwiches at the Tuk Tuk Market and ate them in our room one night; the food was pricey but of excellent quality. Another night, we stopped at Jake's American Bar; again, the food was a little bit pricey but of excellent quality. We did not have time to enjoy the pool, but it was huge, beautiful, and tended by lifeguards. In the parks, we were able to have our purchases sent to our room, which simplified things greatly. Packages are delivered to your room the day AFTER you purchase them, so this service isn't available the day before you check out. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely stay here again!

A must stay for anyone visiting universal studios
We stayed at Lowe's in 2022 as a "treat" before moving onto a villa, however we loved it so much we now can't visit universal without staying here. The hotel is clean, the layout is brilliant, staff so helpful, lots of amenities and the water taxi to universal is a game changer- not to mention the free express passes. We had a family room and a disabled room and we can't fault anything. Absolutely fantastic hotel.

Nov 04, 2025Although this hotel remains excellent, the service fell short of our expectations
Staying at the Loews Pacific Resort is an excellent choice for visitors to Universal Orlando, thanks to its prime location and exclusive perks. The resort offers a Express Pass with every room key, allowing guests to bypass long lines at the theme parks. Additionally, regular shuttle boats and a short 10-minute walk provide easy access to the parks. The resort's Polynesian-inspired decor and ambiance add to its charm. However, our recent stay did not quite live up to the high standards we experienced during our previous visit in 2018. The rooms appeared worn and tired, and the housekeeping service seemed to be lacking. It's possible that the resort's guaranteed clientele has led to a sense of complacency, resulting in a less-than-stellar experience. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that our two water-view rooms were not ready, despite our 5 pm check-in time. Fortunately, the concierge was accommodating and took our luggage, issued our room keys and Express Passes, and directed us to the Universal Parks. During our five-day stay, we observed that housekeeping seemed to prioritise cleaning rooms that were easily accessible, rather than focusing on preparing rooms for new arrivals. On a more positive note, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experiences at Jake's Diner, where the staff made us feel welcome, and the food and drinks were reasonably priced. We also appreciated the convenient and affordable breakfast options at the Tuk Tuk Market. The Orchid Court was another highlight, where we relaxed with a few drinks of an evening. To ensure a smooth departure, be sure to update your room key when checking out, as this will allow you to continue accessing the pool area and theme parks. The resort also provides showers, toilets, and complimentary toiletries near the pool area, making it easy to freshen up before heading home.

Excellent stay with great theme park perks.
Stayed for 2 nights, deluxe room. Greeted very warmly by receptionist upon arrival, lobby smelt amazing and had a very relaxed vibe. Room was great, excellent beds and shower, huge benefit being close to Universal IOA and studio with the boat transport being a great perk. Unlimited express pass was great to have, on site restaurants and quick service Tuk Tuk area also handy to have. Would stay again.

this hotel really needs to sort out the $8 bottles of water they leave in the room. A day after checkout they charged me for 2 bottles, nearly 20 dollars. I’ve emailed and they are refunding. A quick internet search shows this happens to lots of people across the states in Loews hotels. This feels like a scam.
