This was our second stay at the hard rock Hotel. Our favorite thing about it is its location to Universal Studios and our second favorite thing is probably the pool. Those two things are what make it worth it to stay here. The rooms aren’t anything special, and both times we have stayed here we have had really lackluster views. The blackout curtains do a decent job and the mattresses have been comfortable. We also thought housekeeping did an excellent job, (though we were diligent about putting out the sign). Drinks at the beach club in the afternoon after a hot day at the parks were a treat. We did appreciate every staff member we interacted with. Someone was usually available via text and we didn’t feel that AI had taken over the customer service experience. We will probably return though we will look out for more recently updated options that come with the express pass.

Great hotel
Great hotel, walking distance to universal studios, which came in handy after a night at hhn. Was slightly annoyed with house keeping waking us up at 8.30am on the day of checkout. Checkout isn’t even until 11 so unsure why they decided to let them selves in and asking us was we going to be done by 10!

Our family comes to Orlando every year for HHN. This year was the 6th in a row. We always stay at the Lowes Royal Pacific, but decided to try a change of scenery this time. Our room was ready immediately upon check-in, which was great. We made our way to our room and upon our bed bug mattress inspection prior to unpacking, we discovered one of the mattresses was heavily stained and old, was just gross. We left our room and reported the incident and the front desk changed rooms for us. We did have to wait while to get our new room, but thats ok. Throughout our stay, there seemed to be a slow response for luggage, a requested box fan, delivery of a piece of mail we had sent to us from home (which cost us an extra $6.xx for the hotel to process it.) Spending thousands of dollars at the hotel and being nickel and dimed for $6 is terrible. Our last day/night there, our room was not cleaned. We got in late from attending HHN and had to wait 15-20mins for fresh towels. When I alerted the front desk about the room not being cleaned and being out of towels, the gentlemen just addressed the towels and asked if we needed anything else.. no explanation, apology, nothing to address the room not being cleaned. We've never experienced any of this the last 5yrs at the Royal Pacific. Other than it being the closest Hotel to the park, I cant see any other merit to staying here again. We will gladly spend our money elsewhere.

We stayed two nights for HHN. We got a double queen room on the 3rd floor. The renovations in the room made a difference! The hotel staff are the best. We have stayed at Hard Rock Hotel at least 8 times in five years. Its our favorite out of all the hotels on property. The vibe is just awesome. Shoutout again to the staff. You guys ROCK!

Nice Hotel
We have just done a week’s stay at Hard Rock after a week at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. The Positives The proximity to Islands of Adventure and Studios and the pleasant walk alongside the water. The boat was also a good option. The pool and the staff. The kids loved the decent sized pool and slide and the staff around the pool were friendly and helpful. The Express passes were a nice perk (just a shame they don’t include Epic) but allowed us more time to enjoy the rides and attractions. The Negatives There is nowhere in the room to hang wet clothes from water rides and pool. Just a string to pull across the shower (like you get in most hotels) would be a start. The cost of parking is extortionate and feels completely unnecessary given the price of the hotel (Disney don’t do this either!). The shuttle buses could be better. On one day we waited for 30 minutes for a bus to Epic. Plus it’s frustrating always being second after Portofino. Hard Rock should have their own shuttle service, not play second fiddle. Overall it was a good stay, but feel there could be some improvement for the money.
