    Wonderful food and service at Pete’s with Sam!

    Sam at Pete’s is the sweetest server I’ve ever met. I was feeling sick, and she made me a special tea that helped me feel better right away. She was so attentive and lovely!

    Sam is amazing. She took fantastic care of us. She needs a promotion and raise! She was hilarious and so very kind! Couldn’t have asked for a better server! Samantha made our experience absolutely phenomenal. We were a tad upset about the whiskey tasting being cancelled but Sam made it up to us! We will be back because of Sam!!

    Nice Resort for Families, But Nickel and Dimed the Whole Way

    I stayed here with my girlfriend in January. The resort is a little dated, but in a nice location. Great for families with kids. However, they charge you for everything along the way: 1. Parking is $25/night + tax; 2. Most activities require an additional fee; 3. There is a resort fee at check in for $55/night + taxes per room; and, 4. Drinks and food are very expensive at the bars/restaurants on site. In addition, we booked a Deluxe King, and the pictures showed a window with partial ocean/beach view. However, upon check in, we were provided a room on the interior, with no windows, it felt like a jail cell. We were told, only after we checked out, that we could have upgraded to a balcony room for an additional $25/night. It should not be called a Deluxe King and have pictures of a partial ocean/beach view if there are no windows and no view, it's very misleading. The elevators were extremely slow and only two were operational. There are seven floors, so it took sometimes 5-10 minutes for an elevator. The staff was nice and friendly.

    We didn’t stay here. However we did eat at taco playa. Food was incredible and our server Maceo was the best!! Highly recommended for a great meal and experience.
