  My wife and I spent a week at Secrets St. Lucia for our honeymoon, booking through a Costco package, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we checked in, everything was seamless, and the team truly went above and beyond to make us feel special and celebrated throughout our stay. We stayed in the deluxe swim out king room and were beyond happy - the views and vibes were incredible. A special shoutout to Kurl the Girl for consistently checking in on us and providing such amazing service and hospitality throughout our stay! Her warmth and attentiveness really stood out and made our honeymoon that much more memorable. Secrets St. Lucia was the perfect place to unwind, relax, and celebrate this special chapter of our lives together. The adults-only, all-inclusive atmosphere made it easy to disconnect and enjoy every moment esp with beach literally a few steps away from our room. We would HIGHLY recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, especially those celebrating a honeymoon or anniversary. We’re so grateful for the wonderful experience and can't wait to return.

  Don’t do it

  SAVE YOUR MONEY! This is probably one of the most boring, lack of food, no entertainment, slowest service etc etc I’ve witness. Go to the Royalton. This property is very small as well

  Not worth the money

  It's just not worth the price for the quality of room, food and service received. The beach is small with little shade, the preferred club doesn't offer much apart from slightly nicer rooms and I could have done without the cockroaches and room service served on dirty dinner plates. Staff was fairly friendly, but not exactly helpful in making up for any of those shortcomings. Nice swim up though in the 1100 building.

  Worst Resort I have Ever Stayed At!!!!

  I'm only giving the resort a star because some of the staff was nice. I have never been so happy to leave a resort in my life! To start off, the food is TRASH!!!! I got sick eating at Oceana. I though it was just me, but I was talking to another person about how I got sick without even telling her where I ate. She said she got sick her first night at the same restaurant. The best restaurant in my opinion was the hibachi. Service is also terrible!!!! We ordered room service and waited over an hour for our food. Once it finally came, it was cold and tasted like day old food. I also had to call several times for extra toilet paper and waited over 2 hours for someone to bring it. The liquor options are also TRASH!!!! Bottom shelf liquor and they seem to have the better options for the preferred club members. This resort seems to nickel and dime everything. I have never been to a resort and they charge you to use the cabanas by the pool. They day we left, someone called us in the morning to schedule our luggage pick up time. They never showed up and I had to call again to get someone to finally come. Also, when you check out, I'm used to them asking how my stay was. I got nothing, and the lady seemed like she didn't want to be at work. In short, if you want to stay at a nice resort with good service and food, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I told my husband that I would not even stay here for free!!!

  Save Your Money

  After visiting many Secrets resorts, I was greatly disappointed in this one. The beach was very small, and I felt like I was swimming in a lake. The entertainment was mediocre, and the staff, for the most part, seemed to be inconvenienced at any request (as opposed to Cancun where they'd go over & beyond). The rooms were much smaller than other Secrets, and you had to hike to get to them (on hills and no elevators). The bathrooms are extremely small, and there's no jacuzzi tubs. There are also no hot tubs. They also did not include the personal items like all other Secrets do: razor, Q-Tips, shower cap, etc. I felt like I was in a Hyatt Place. The food was very disappointing, especially the very small selection in the Market Cafe. I also didn't like cats everywhere, especially while eating. Portofino was the best, and we did enjoy Morgan's Pier, although we once again had to inconvenience the staff by asking them to move us because we wanted the curtains (sheets) open to hear and experience the sound of the water. The drinks at the bars and restaurants were mostly watered down, but OK. The worst part of the experience was the fact that we were supposed to be in the preferred area. I KNOW the resort was nowhere near full-capacity, and yet they would not let us switch rooms. We loved the quietness and the view of the preferred pool and spent most of our time there (which is why I rated the resort a 2 instead of a 1), but it rained a lot, and getting a ride to our room at the far end of the resort was very frustrating. We had to wait up to twenty minutes for rides at times. As an Explorist member for three years, you'd think I'd be treated better. I will NOT be returning to this resort. If you prefer small rooms up on a hill similar to a regular Hyatt hotel (not all-inclusive) without your regular accommodations, then this facility is great. Otherwise, save your money and go to another Hyatt all-inclusive in the Carribbean.
