  Butlers are the best!

  We just came back from a 10 day stay with a swim up room in the adult section with Star Class service. The Star Class option at Planet Hollywood is a must! One of the Star Class perks is having a Butler, well you actually get 2 Butlers as they are there for you from 9am to 10pm. We had the best pair of Butlers, Angel and Edwar. These two gentlemen could not have done more for us. By noon of our first full day we had reservations at every restaurant we requested at the times we asked for. Angel and Edwar co-ordinated with our family and friends Butlers so we were all able to eat together. Every night our Butler was at our restaurant to make sure our seating was good and what we expected. Every time we saw either of them they asked what more could they do, in fact when I said I was going to go pack, they said they could do that for us. I can’t think of anything these two gentlemen would not do for us and always with a smile. The other Star Class perks are well worth the extra cost. You get 2 extra a la carte restaurants, top shelf liquor in your own lounge that is always stocked with fresh finger foods, can’t call them snacks as they are exquisite. I would recommend getting the Star Class upgrade and ask for Butlers Angel and Edwar, they will see to your every wish and even those you didn’t know you wanted. Planet Hollywood Cancun is definitely on our list for coming back, and soon. Thank you Angel and Edwar for an unforgettable 10 days!

  Planet Hollywood Adult hotel is excellent.

  Food, employees, and entertainment team was great Josue, Fernando, Moises, and Marcos was great. Parasailing was wonderful. Director room was amazing. Staff was always willing to assist. Dining was always on schedule and great. Love it

  Honest review

  I want write an honest review about Planet Hollywood Cancun as there are a lot of very mixed reviews on here. Firstly, my husband and I booked star class adults at the hotel and were immediately made to feel like celebrities. When you enter the hotel regardless of what you’ve booked, plays and the staff and fellow holiday makers clap for you. Our check-in was really swift on the star class side, once in our rooms Susy one of our butlers came to visit us. She explained the benefits of the star class side and set up a WhatsApp group that we could be in contact with her and our other butler Molly. Susy and Molly along were the trainee Alex were fantastic. They were able to book restaurants, answer quieres and offer help with anything we needed. We had had butler service in another hotel and it was nothing like this. Susy and Molly sent a daily message with where we had booked to eat, the days activities and even came to see us face to face most days too. Food Braza which is on the adult side is almost like in all you can eat choices of meat with a appetisers that you can go ans get yourself. We visited this restaurant twice and we were really impressed both times as they cook the meat however you request. Next was Catch the seafood restaurant. I am not a fan of seafood but my husband is so we went along and they were really helpful to him allowing him to try mahi-mahi and ribs together I case he didn’t like the fish. We had a wonderfully waiter Fernando both times and he was so attentive and friendly. The third restaurant we really liked was Gusto the Italian. I’ve seen some people say they had really long wait here for food an hour and a half to 2 hours we did not experience this. Everyone was really attentive . We knew we wanted to eat both times so where to put our order in and then it just came when it was ready. The final restaurant we really liked was the Teppanyaki and we went here twice and both times lots to eat really good show the only site downside was the first time we went the two other families who pretty much ignored the chef. They were too busy talking to each other which we found ignorant of the show that was being put on by the chef. kind of ignoring the show who was putting on The negatives in terms of food were the buffet apart from breakfast which we had for the first few days. Lunch and dinner were really mediocre. They had the same options each day and everything always seemed quite lukewarm unless you were going to have pasta cooked or omelettes so we only visited this a couple of times. Second really disappointing place was the Mexican not sure whether the menu is more American but it definitely wasn’t traditional Mexican everything was quite bland and again lukewarm for some reason.. We went to the Indian restaurant which was okay but didn’t feel very authentic again so we only visited this once and Guys burger for lunch wasn’t great at all. It was really overcooked chips while warm but again it’s fast food meal of the day. We had a real issue in the steakhouse. The first time everything was okay but the second time we think they forgot about us. No bread to start, drinks took forever and the steak when it cake was inedible which was disappointing. In terms of lunches we went to the star class bar most days which was really good burgers, quesadillas, potato wedges hot served quickly no issues at all and our pool the adults pool had someone cooking different things like tacos burgers ceviche lots of options there as well. Breakfast was probably the best once we found out that hatch did a kind of à la carte with the buffet. You could order breakfast items however you wanted them and the service was fantastic. We really liked her Hernan and Erik who made sure that we always had drinks made sure that they put our orders incorrectly and just generally were great waiters. Entertainment wise we stayed by the adults pool and the first week we had Carlos and Moses along with a trainee called Wilder who were brilliant. They were really enthusiastic. Played good music did loads of different types of games from bingo to Aqua aerobics l, to guessing games to song competitions really gave you something that kind of do in the middle of the day you didn’t have to take part you could just be observing. Again. I’ve seen some people complaining that they thought it was a bit too sexualised in places but we were on the adult side and they were really strict on making sure that people had the correct bands on who were there. The waiters around the poor Harvey and Moises were excellent. It was super busy but they kept the drinks flowing and yes tipping does help. Aside from them Ruben in the Castaway bar is lovely. Makes sure everyone is served in turn and whether you tip or not. The evening entertainment we saw was okay. There were some big shows every night there an adults are only purple party on the beach which was really good and there was a singer in the adults lobby most nights it could be as late as you wanted it to be or as early and chilled as you wanted it to be. We stayed in block 12 we didn’t get disturbed by any of the music if we wanted to just go to our room early. One of the biggest letdowns that I’ve seen a lot of people complain about was the sunbeds as we only stayed at the adult side. I can only speak for that but after being body clocked the first few days with travelling waking up early and just going down and putting towels down we realised how bad the situation was and by the end of the second week if you were not up for before 6 o’clock you are not going get a Sunlounger with a parasol. They need more sunloungers and an enforcement on people not coming to the beds for hours. Overall we had a really great holiday I wouldn’t say it was five stars mainly because of the food choices and the issues with lounges and for the last two days, the hot water went to the extent that when we were leaving, we had to have a cold shower. Not the hotels fault but obviously that does have a knock on effect to everything else going on. The staff really make the place and even if the food hadn’t been great you know the service can be relied on.

  Celebrity service!

  I cannot fault this place! The suites are amazing, food is delicious, service is celebrity status. Drinks are all imported and high quality. Something for everybody and no expense spared. I’ve already booked for a few months time to bring my family back with me. Amazing place!

  Best Bulters Ever!!!

  Edwar and Angel were the best bulters ever! They were very attentive, we did not have to worry about a thing! They explained everything! We would request them anytime we come here. They made our experience even better! Thank you for all your hard work!!!
