Terrible
Our second visit during our trip, both times food was cold. Wasn’t even asked why we left everything on our plate literally one bite was taken and we pushed the plate away. Waited 20 mins for our drinks to make it to the table. Would not recommend over priced and terrible.

Decidedly Mixed Review
Recently stayed for 10 days. Resort itself is clean and well maintained. Plenty of other reviews mention the lack of a usable beach and having to negotiate the steep hills where many of the units are located. Rooms are fine - although no USB ports and no place to hang wet bathing suits or beach towels. Restaurant on property is pretty standard for St Thomas as far as menu choices and prices. However - the kitchen ran out of items daily. Cheese, chicken, guacamole, salsa…It became a running joke to ask each day what the kitchen was missing. Our bartender at the pool bar even ran out of cups and straws at one point. There also seemed to be a staffing issue as the bartender often had to leave the bar unattended while they ran to the kitchen to grab food orders. Equipment broken behind the bar, TVs not working, broken door - very surprising for a Margaritaville. The best part of our stay was the great bartending staff - Alan, Erin, Eric and Kevin. Despite the daily challenges, they remained upbeat and positive.

Had a Great Time, Would Go Back
Our stay was great. We were a bit hesitant based on some reviews here, but the staff were all VERY friendly, the resort was clean. The food menu is a little limited, but the food was good for what it was. I wish they'd had all the TVs working for football viewing at the pool(s), but otherwise we'd return. Try to get you to sit through a vacation club presentation but asked just enough to do their job, not enough to be pesky or annoying. Excursions on the Snorkel Cat were fairly priced and we did the sunset cruise & snorkeling, both turned out better than expected. Tons of Taxi's available, however we found renting a car for the week to be a better fit.

Awesome Family Trip!
We booked through the Wyndham Vacation club and stayed as a family reunion of 23 people. We all booked 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units. They were incredible and the staff was amazing. I truly do not understand the bad reviews of Margaritavilles, Saint Thomas resort. The restaurant food was fun and great pub/American traditional food. Charlotte Amalie was our server once and a spit fire. She had us laughing the whole time. The beach wasn’t the best, sure. But a less then 5 minute stroll had us a Coki beach and was STUNNING. Most of the time a Safari Truck was going by and we could jump on for a $1 a piece if we wanted too. There was also a corner market that was a 5 minute walk where we stocked up on beer and snacks. The pools were amazing, and the resort was clean. If we ever go back to Saint Thomas, I would 100% stay here again. Nothing disappointed.

Horrific
We didn’t stay at the resort but decided to walk over from our resort for dinner and that was mistake number one. I will say the drinks were delicious and that was about it. We ordered the fried calamari appetizer. My boyfriend and I were unable to chew it and had to spit it out. I then ordered the guacamole burger. The guacamole was brown and the fries were cardboard. Now my man got the NY strip with mashed potatoes mixed veggies and added a shrimp skewer. He got his steak rare and was unable to cut it. It was rare but couldn’t be cut or chewed. The shrimp was also chewy. The food tasted old and possibly freezer burnt. Would NOT recommend. Prices were very high for very poor quality food. Very disappointed.
