    Excellent Resort!!

We absolutely loved the amenities and activities at this resort. Shuttles readily available to transport us between all four villages which allowed us to enjoy all the pools and activities located in each village. The lazy river and mini golf were the best!! Beautiful golf course, bingo, bowling, arcade, pools and water activities kept us busy enough that we didn't have the desire to visit the DisneyWorld Parks...which is a first for us. We will definitely be booking our next vacation at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort.

Be prepared to be robbed 🤣

The resort is very nice and plenty of amenities. But with some caveats. The time share sales seminar is ridiculous. Two hours? Yeah more like 3-4. It’s such a dumb process, if you have no idea what a timeshare costs before you go how can you make a decision on the spot? They should just tell you upfront what the cost is. Who makes a $40k decision in 10 minutes lol? I guess they bank on people making poor decisions quickly. Then don’t attempt to buy anything on the property, it’s 200% more expensive than anywhere else. The WiFi works horribly also. The food at breezes is average at best and they hit you with a 18% gratuity on top of the inflated prices. I’m shocked people come back here honestly, the constant cash grab is super annoying. I’m fine with paying for quality but this is simple gouging. Doubt I would come back here.

best place for families or as a couple

love the place, stayed 2 weeks, 1 week at west village. loved the quietness of the pool. we were traveling without kids. 2nd week stayed at north village. pool is insane with kids/people, didn't help we were there during our school spring break. we used to take our kids to this pool and loved it. we've been going to this resort for over 10 years, lots to do, everything on the resort and people who work there are so friendly & helpful

    Don't do it!

Went in to learn about a timeshare option and it was exactly what you hear and fear about timeshares. First they didn't send me any prior literature to learn about their program or facilities. They charged me $250 to come visit, do a tour and listen to a sales pitch. They put us up in a Holiday Inn 30 minutes away from the resort where I was denied the basics of free parking and complimentary breakfast where all other patrons had included in their fee (I even had to put a big pink sign in my car window where no one else had one). I show up to the resort on tour day and they say I can't continue because my wife was required to be there (as a chaperone? I cant make a decision? She's the weakest link???). They immediately charged my card an additional $416 penalty, on top of the $250 I already paid, total experience now costing me $666 (number makes sense) which would be the equivalent "resort rate". While the hotel also charged me an additional $186 for parking and taxes (remember I had to pay for breakfast too). BTW, why are they charging me the resort rate when they put me up in a Holiday Inn 30 minutes away from the resort? Shady. Funny thing is I had already rescheduled the tour with my wife (who did NOT want to go) for the next morning but they still charged my card as a penalty for not bringing her the first time. We tour the property on my morning visit (still with no literature in hand) then sit down to talk numbers. The numbers made no sense at all and the guy got irritated at my deeper questions and we were done. They still gave me no literature to leave with and think about to reconsider. They said I can go get my "gifts" on the way out the door, which was my $250 back and I made a big deal about giving me my $416 back as well. Haven't heard from them since. All they wanted was to bring me in to lock me into a $20k+ payment with $1400 a year maintenance fee and push us aside for the next willing victim. Stay far away from these people. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in IHG for this fear mongering, gotcha, condescending and greedy behavior. I expect so much more from this brand. IHG needs to seriously reign in this department.

    a relaxing oasis.

Orange Lake provides so many options that you can relax by a choice of several pools, lots of activities to do on site, and it’s in a good location to explore some other things that Florida has to offer, parks included. The fun team works really hard at creating activities for guests, and it’s a great way to meet fellow guests. we even managed to meet someone that we had kind of already met in the past! Would definitely recommend.
