Our first time going to this hotel and this area. My husband and I booked a 7 day vacation to this beautiful hotel in June 2025 travelling from the UK. Flight was long but good and transfers went well. Hotel is a away from the airport and was in a very remote part of Riveria Maya which we did not realise. Check went ok a bit of a wait as lots people was checking in. Loads of Americans and Canadians stay at this hotel which was great. The hotel is very very huge really huge but beautiful and lots of different restaurants , bars , swimming pools and also different grades of stays if you wanted to pay to upgrade. Our room was beautiful on the 4th floor however it overlooked the mangroves and also a very noisy building site over yonder. This was not ideal for us as the building noise was very early and went on quite late. After 2 days we were able to change the location of our room over looking a part of the many pool areas. We did have to stress the move too the reception desk repeatedly and too out Tui rep Chloe(thank you ) but also mainly our THANKS BIG THANKS go out to Ligia (hotel quests services) she enabled and made sure that our room was changed that we was comfortable throughout out stay. This hotel needs to recognise this ladies hard work and commitment to the quests. Ligia deserves a reward or a salary rise wonderful lady. The hotel is clean and huge as mention our rooms were clean, spacious and beautiful, comfy beds, whirlpool in all rooms along with huge big shower rooms. Mini bar filled daily . The hotel has a huge main restaurant which gets very busy and the omelette stations need to be man with more staff to help the chefs with the ingredients needed to carry out the breakfast. Many restaurants situated around this very busy complex and the many bars inside and outside. There is no need to rush to get sunbeds as there are loads around. I could not really fault or find big faults with this hotel other than it’s a bit too remote. To go out outside to venture would cost you to the nearest town for shopping $80 dollars round trip to go Cancun $100 dollars and the same to go to Plays del Carmen. The Tui reps do a tour for $1.00 however you would have to visits the shops that they take you too but then you are left to do your thing for at least 2 hours before returning to the tour bus. Also do not believe any horrible reviews if any are on here as there really nothing at all wrong with this hotel. The staff all of them work very very hard to make the vacation enjoyable If you treat people kindly kindness comes back.

My family & I were so very impressed by Marcos’s performance, patience, kindness, & quickness! He was very attentive & efficient! Not only was the food amazing & the service was excellent! My favorite dining experience thus far.

Caribbean Dinner at Royalton
Delightful Caribbean dinner! Shrimp popcorns as an appetizer and arrachera steak was delicious and so tender. Our server Sergio and the manager Gabriel were friendly and polite

Paradise away from home
We stayed in the Diamond Club for about a week. Absolutely amazing service from all! Alberto, Angelica, and Rodrigo were our butlers and they made us so comfortable, and our trip was so easy and relaxing because of them. The diamond club servers catered to our every need—Joel and his team took great care of us! I had several spa treatments while there. Addy was the woman who helped me make reservations and she was so helpful getting me booked for the treatments I was looking for. Iusfra and Kelly were my two masseuses and believe me when I say I was tenderized like a fine wagyu steak. Absolutely wonderful experience all around. Make sure you eat at Grazie during your stay—it was our favorite restaurant. Thank you Royalton Riviera for an unforgettable trip!
