Overall stay was great. I enjoyed the beautiful ambience and gorgeous ocean view from my room. The room was spacious and clean. Room was equipped with a stocked refrigerator, ironing board, iron, bathroom essentials, coffee maker/coffee, hair dryer. The beds were comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet daily. There was variety based on my dietary habits. The food was well prepared. I commended the kitchen staff for a job well done. All Staff that I encountered were pleasant but particularly, a young waitress, Melshina, who was so helpful and knowledgeable. She was very attentive. Notwithstanding the commendations, I had a few concerns. 1. Major security concern - the door guard/hotel security latch was so loose that it did not serve the intended purpose. I also noticed that a few other family members actually had no door guard/hotel security latch. 2. The absence of fresh fruit juices. Too much soda and processed drinks were served. 3. Turnaround time for room service was too long and the menu too limited. 4. It was too difficult to make reservations to experience the various restaurants. The restaurants can seat very few people at a time. 5. The instructions being given during check-in should be available on a card. I suggested same to employee during check-in because remembering all of the various instructions regarding room service, buffet times and other details is quite a mouthful.
