Poor food and service quality and algae green sea at Grand Palladium
Very poor quality food and food variety. Staff are not friendly or helpful, don't know simple information when asked. Prepare to wait up to 2.5 hours to be seated at restaurants and for the restaurants not to have large portions of their claimed menu available. Hotel is located in the middle of nowhere in an area without good beaches or sea. Go to Negril or Montego Bay instead. Rooms are nice but require a 15-20 minute trek to get to the main areas of the hotel. Good coffee bar above the Lagoon buffet wand the only place with acceptable service but be prepared to wait for up to 45 minutes to get a coffee during the peak morning and evening hours. Nice pool area but main and pretty much only pool closes at 6 pm, so do all the entertainment facilities and towel stations associated with the pool area. Would not stay here agin.

Thanksgiving Family Trip
Our El Dorado dinner experience was very disappointing. They ran out of Red wine before our steak got served. The brownie desert was served with melted vanilla ice cream. It took over an hour from ordering our main course to having it served.

Overall a nice experience
I visited this resort in October and overall had a really lovely experience. I was travelling with family, including my little boy who is almost 2 years old. He attended the kids club most days and they went above and beyond for him! Shaquana in particular was extremely helpful and was truly amazing with my little boy. Shaquana made sure my boy was settled and sent me lots of regular updates as to how he was getting on. It meant we could relax knowing he was well taken care of! The food at the resort was okay.. lots of choice but wouldn’t say the quality of the food was the best. You wouldn’t go hungry but very basic standard. The resort itself is beautiful and very well kept. Most of the staff was extremely friendly and happy to help. We did come across the odd person that was a bit rude but overall we had good experiences. I feel there’s definitely a lot of room for improvement and would not class this hotel as a 5 star but we had a lovely holiday and would definitely return to Jamaica! Thanks again to Shaquana!!!
