May 09, 2025Wet sheets stolen clothes and bed maid with sheets from the floor
I’ve just returned from this hotel and had a 14 night stay I upgraded to there sun club witch gives you 24 hours room service and a few extra perks buf wasn’t worth the money my room was lovely right on the beach but having a disability it was a long way to the restaurants for food my first week my cleaning lady was amazing so I gave her a 60 dollar tip she was worth every penny but the 2nd week went down hill first the second week the maid put my sheets on the floor to dry them and made the bed with them I was so shocked I reported this and made a complaint and that’s when the problems started I was no longer getting my mini bar restocked with anything but water no beers or soft drinks it wasn’t until I packed to come home that I reilsed that half of my clothes had gone so I’m sure it was that maid as they only had a key to my room and the girl at the kiedasscope restaurant never stopped asking me for my clothes I like your hat give it to me ect it made me feel very uncomfortable I gave all in all 400 dollars in tips and most people really appreciated it but some was over bearing and called my room at 7 in the morning and constantly knocked at my door asking if I wanted pizza or food because they wanted more money the staff are great mostly but a few let the hotel down bar staff are very good and work hard hotel was very clean but the second week my sheets were always wet and smelled of damp and I came home unwell they do there best with the food but it’s not great id say 3 star at a push and definitely wouldn’t return beach and trips are wonderful

Sadly a huge disappointment for my 32nd visit to this beautiful island. Main issue was having a non secure room for a solo traveller. The door stuck and was hard to open and close so daily I found my room door not closed properly and free for all to enter. My balcony doors were damaged and wouldn’t lock either. I complained and was told more or less that if I stayed on the sunclub side I wouldn’t have any issues. That’s another $500. That is what I needed to do to get soft drinks in the mini bar which is standard everywhere else. Hotel was virtually empty but no offer for me to move to a secure standard room. Very poor treatment. Room has not yet been renovated either contrary to their advertisements. They also kept moving the restaurant venue for breakfast with no signs on previous venue to direct you. Several people had to abandon breakfast or miss trips because they had no idea where to go. 15 mins of wandering around being given the wrong information instead of a simple sign on previous venue door. My booking for here in September is definitely going to be moved to a hotel where I get what I pay for and am treat with respect and won’t get treated l differently because I refuse to pay more money to get the basics. Made the most of the beach and bed was comfortable. Staff for the most were lovely.

Overall, great experience! Went from April 23-30 th. 2025. Our room was located in building no. 3. Nice layout, everything is within walking distance. The restaurants, evening shows, pool an beach. We did 2 excursions. One to Sanoa Island and the other to sea snorkeling. We went to 2 natural pools which were amazing. Food and drinks really good. Evening shows were amazing. One of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Downside was the reservations for a la carte restaurants. We managed to get 2 a la carte suppers with the help of hotel concierge. Have to book online, times to book are not the same from different staff to another. I was disappointed with the beach. Pool was nice. Beachside palm trees and sand very beautiful. A lot of weeds in the water. My bathing suit was stained from algae, had to throw it out. Seaweed left beside water. They do clean it but it seems it wasn’t enough. Rooms very humid, got better during the week after ventilation from AC. Stocked fridge with beer, water and soft drinks. Only 20 minutes to the airport. Would probably go back when seaweed season is over.

The entertainment staff is amazing….. they do soooo many fun activities and are soooo friendly. The entertainment staff including Bombo, Cielo, Coca Cola are very friendly and are always interacting with you. The pools are very nice. Drinks are very good. They are always doing activities around the pool. Including bingo, darts, ring toss and many others.
