What a view, what a stunning view from the hotel of the Acropolis. All day and night, one can just spend time at the hotel with that view of the Acropolis in the distance. As soon a I walked in, I was checked in to a suite and boy, what a room that was. It had a separate powder room, a massive area with sofas, tables and what not and then a huge king-size bed. Never stayed in any room like this in their executive floor. The major attractions of Athens are all very nearby and there's a stop for the Hop-On-Hop-Off right beside the hotel. Truly wonderful experience. Only downsides were the room was too cold and I had to ask for a heather. Secondly, I could not find a single international plug in the room. Wish they had a clock in such a big room and also kept fresh fruits. I did order In room dining - soup, Greek salad and they were delicious.

Great Hotel, friendly staff
From the moment I registered at Reception the welcome was very friendly. The gentlemen immediately acknowledged my IHG status and I was offered an upgrade to a suite with a view of the Parthenon. The lobby was beautiful. Large seating area for coffee and drinks and a restaurant open to the Atrium in the center. I was early so I was offered a coffee of my choice on the house, until my room was ready. My suite was very large with two bathrooms, two closets, a living room with couch, dining table and chairs and a bar. The balcony was very large with a table and chairs and a view if the Acropolis and the Parthenon. When it was lit at night, it was spectacular. The bed was very comfortable and it also had a couch. The ensuite bathroom was clean, large with a nice shower/bathtub. I was shown the Spa which had so many amenities. Not just a massage and it was beautiful. I wish I had more free time to actually use the spa facilities. The Gym had what seemed to be all brand new equipment. The outdoor pool was closed for the season. That evening we enjoyed drinks and delicious assortment of hot and cold food overlooking the Parthenon in the Club Lounge. Again friendly people and a beautiful relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast staff were all friendly and the food selection both hot and cold was excellent. They even had a cooking station which made omelets or eggs any style for you. We went to the Plaka one night for dinner and we walked back to the hotel. It was a nice 20 minute walk straight down the main street from the Acropolis. I would definitely stay at this fabulous hotel again. I can't say enough as to how friendly all of the staff were.

Great service with high quality
Check in process was fast and effective. The room we got was very clean and well equipped. Maybe TV size can be improved. The fitness is also very wide and well equipped for both aerobic and weight training. Special emphasis to a great service at breakfast. Food variety is high including healthy and low fat options. We also enjoyed the lounge that we got access especially after 17:00 when “dinner” and alcohol is served. You can enjoy the landscape from the balcony. Bottom line - we enjoyed. It was great value for us. We will come back. BTW it is 30min walk or 8euro taxi from main tourist areas

A very large Intercontinental with a large lobby which was quite grand. Was upgraded to a suite as an ambassador. The room was extremely large and modern with separate bedroom and living room. The rooftop bar was excellent with very nice views of the city. Location of this hotel is in the centre so you are close to a lot of tourist destinations such as the Acropolis. The lady who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful.

Comfort and convenience
This hotel was spacious and comfortable in every corner. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the door. The bell captain stored our luggage and delivered it to us when our room was ready. The room was large and well appointed with a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom. There were many onsite dining options including a beautiful formal restaurant overlooking the Parthenon. The concierge was very helpful with our questions and was able to make recommendations. A beautiful stay.
