Great location and staff.
The location was terrific. The room was very nice and the breakfast was very good. Tahsin was so helpful to us at breakfast. He made our stay more enjoyable. The front desk was great. They held our luggage for us on the day we checked out because we didn’t leave Paris until later in the day. We would definitely stay here again.

Worse Experience Ever
We have stayed at other Melia properties in Spain, Mexico, etc and have had a great experience so when we saw a Melia in Paris we did not hesitate to book it. What disappointment we had. This hotel is rated as a 4 Star hotel but is nothing like it. I understand that is located in an area where not too many changes or upgrades if any can be made to the exterior of the building but the inside was rotten. The walls were peeling. the bathroom had mold, the inside of the toilet was yellow. All around a very disgusting experience. We called reception to ask why the AC was not working, and they told us that due to "Global Warming" hotels in Paris are not allowed to turn on ACs when the temp outside has chilled and that we had to open the windows to get the room to a good temperature. totally unacceptable and this was not true. We opened the windows and there were a lot of doves flying around and we could barely rest since we thought the doves were going to come into the room. I told my wife to just wing it for now since we were so exhausted from the trip that after we checked in, we fell asleep for a bit. We went out and once we got back we settle to fall asleep for the night. Here is where the second round of problems began and what put us over the top. We tried to reach someone to get a second set of pillows since the pillows we had looked like baby pillows and nobody would answer. We tried to call for almost 1 hr with no answer from anyone. We could barely rest because since we had to sleep with the window open and we could hear conversations and noises coming from other rooms as well as doves flying around the garden area. At some point a dove flew so close to our window, we thought it was going to come in. Never the less we could barely rest that night and woke up destroyed the next day. When we woke up I told my wife there was not way I was putting up with 3 more nights on sleeping like this and we decided to pack our bags and look for another hotel, the Marignan Champ Elyses which turned out to be excellent. On our way out when we checked out, Julian the front desk person, a true hospitality professional totally understood our point and asked us to please hang on for the manager. HE came back to tell us the manager was on the phone and she will be right out in 5 mins. Not sure how we did it, but we managed to wait a total of 44 mins for the manager to come out and she never did. Looked like she was not interested in dealing with a situation. All in all, a terrible experience and I would never recommend this hotel.

Our first trip to Paris!
The check-in staff were helpful. The restaurant breakfast buffet staff were very accommodating for gluten allergy that one of us has. The buffet food was very good. Bed was extremely comfortable. Hotel is very quiet. Bathroom was very clean. Good location for walking as well as picking up an Uber.

Fantastic
Fantastic property, cleaned rooms, helpful and friendly staff! We loved our stay there and appreciated all the little details they had offer to us, as well as the excellent treatment from all the staff. The location of the hotel is also nice.

Great Paris hotel
Absolutely brilliant wee hotel in Paris! The hotel was small / boutique and the rooms were huge and spacious with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was great and all the staff were absolutely lovely and helpful! Great place and would absolutely return!
