  Good enough experience

  Agreed with others on this resort, “good enough” for Cozumel. Positives: - The pictures you see of the beach with the palapa’s and beach chairs with a sandy beach look exactly like this, Dreams did not photoshop the resort. Even though the beach is sandy you need water shoes if you plan on going in the water. - There no real sandy bottom here, great for snorkelling, lots of fish to see and the water is waste deep and crystal clear, I didn’t even bother putting on any snorkel gear to see fish. - Very small resort and all of the restaurants on the property have ocean views, even the buffet in the morning, the sunsets are killer here especially eating at Olio restaurant. Improvements: - When first arriving and checking into the hotel, having the first person you interact with being the time share rep is comical and a huge lost opportunity to make a positive impact on the guest experience. This isn’t a large resort by any means, I think the GM or manager can easily welcome guests and walk them through the property rather then a time share rep offer me “vip” coupons and breakfast then disappear when you tell them “no” as my first point of contact. - Being that this is an all “preferred club” resort, the lack of premium booze or even any booze in the “preferred club” is another let down. Again being a small resort having something more than Jose Cuervo your tequila standard is a let down.

  Hard Pass

  Zero Hot ( or even warm) water for 7 nights. Crowd involvement/entertainment at any of the 3 resorts 1 of 10 and the 1 is just due to the volleyball games. If you can find a pool playing music it's 1987 elevator music. Of the 3 resorts they apparently had 0 working Bluetooth speakers for use around pools. I could literally here crickets chirping at 3 pm at one pool. They will not make a specialty shot. Just straight (whatever) alcohol. The staff was great and it was very clean. Kids at Dreams pool seemed to be having fun due solely to their own ability to self entertain. The food was to be expected at your typical mexico resort. I will not be returning. I have stayed at worse resorts over all in Cozumel but none as boring.

  Pleasant!!!!!

  Rooms were nice and clean. Was a little disappointed in the food overall. There were things going on over the course of time we were there but not the communication for these things were very limited. Overall, the stay was pleasant and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

  Didnt meet expectations

  Best of the three properties which isn't saying much. Sabor is basic and tiny! Secrets we heard constant complaints from other guests that the rooms at Secrets smelled like sewage and had to be moved several times to finally get an appropriate room. We heard this while my wife and I were getting our massage on the beach that cost $435 USD. Not really a romantic environment! Dreams had the best of the worst. Great Pool overall, Great Beach overall, Food overall at Dreams was a let down (much better at Secrets); Preferred Club was a waste because all of the "truly preferred" amenities were at Secrets...two properties over. The Preferred pool at Secrets was a joke, the preferred lounge was only at Secrets; the advantages at Dreams Preferred club was mini fridge refresher, room service, and access to all of the properties. However the gold cart shuttles were unreliable and did not pick you up from the other properties nearby.

  Stress Free vacation

  All six of us in the group that stayed here have all said the same thing multiple times already, 'We absolutely loved staying here and cant wait to come back again". From the moment we got picked up at the airport to the moment we said our goodbyes to everyone we felt completely relaxed and so very well taken care of by the staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable to sleep in and the swim out pool suite (which i highly recommend booking) is an absolutely amazing experience to have. The food was delicious, the cocktails were wonderful and I cant say enough about the staff at this resort. From Rudy at the resort main entrance, Luis our incredible waiter who remembered our drink orders after our very first breakfast to Eugenia our hardworking pool cocktail waitress whom probably got in about 20,000 steps a day alone just from serving us. This resort is more intimate in size than most which makes it perfect if you don't want to deal with a large crowd while vacationing. Thank you again to everyone at Dreams Cozumel you will definitely see us again at some point.
