Dreams is everything you would expect from an all inclusive resorts. It definitely could use some maintenance but all in all it's a great place to visit. The beach is spectacular for snorkeling. Lots of beautiful fish. The entertainment staff was phenomenal especially Heydy and Edwin! Heydy is so fun and definitely takes her job very seriously. She is top notch. The drinks were good pool staff was very accommodating. The food was ok just like every other all inclusive. One thing that was nice is you didn't have to have a reservation for any of your meals. If you love the beach and pool, you will be set!

An amazing resort. From drinks to food. Amenities are great! The facilities, landscape, pool, the beach were amazing. Always greeted with respect and very friendly and polite. Highly recommend this resort for couples or families. We met a lot of friendly people from all over the world.

Jan 21, 2025Dreams Cozumel - The Good and Not-So-Good
The good -Contrary to other reviews, we enjoyed the food at all the restaurants, including the restaurants at Secrets and Sunscape. - Staff was friendly and helpful. - Our UVC representative was helpful when needed. - Beach was beautiful and snorkeling from shore was a plus. The not-so-good - AC leaked water (LOTS of water) down wall, onto desk, chair, and onto floor. Front desk did not answer phone when called (twice). No one came to fix it when reported face-to-face at front desk. We had to turn the AC off for the night. UVC rep was able to get someone to repair it the following day. The repairman, however, clogged the sink when washing the dirty AC parts. He did nothing to repair. We had to contact our UVC rep again to remedy. - Non-alcoholic beer - Only available occasionally at the main bar. Never available at the pool or beach bars. Not available in the restaurants either. - Dress code - Restaurant dress code in the app differed from the dress code posted outside the restaurants. It didn't matter, however, as no dress code was enforced. - The guests in the ocean front swim out rooms continuously played loud music. It was a "battle of who's speaker was loudest." Apparently no one asked them to turn it off or lower the volume as it happened every day. - Beach and pool chairs - None available unless you reserved a chair before it was light. And guests routinely did not arrive until noon and then only sat in their chairs for a short period of time. They would leave and not take their towels so the chairs sat empty for the entire day. Pool chairs were usually not taken until 10am or so.

Make sure to rent a car.
Beautiful, very clean. However, when we checked in, we were immediately given the speal for their tome share resort experience. Since we went in the off-season, there wasn't much to do/see besides the pool. Most days, we couldn't do any snorkeling because of rip currents. Food was ok but not what we expected. The only fancy restaurant was serving only seafood. I'm very allergic so we couldn't go there. After 3 days we rented a car so we could finally do something. Warning rent a car for your stay right away. The taxis at the airport are a scam and will take you for at least $100US.

Breathe taking views..very accommodating staff
The view from the ocean front room was beautiful. All of the restaurants were easy to get into. The food was delicious. Best ceviche I have ever had. The rooms were super clean and were cleaned and restocked every day. Marco was the best! He showed us to our room after we checked in and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Vladimir with Amstar helped us set up a couple excursions which were amazing and setup our transportation back to the airport.
- AdvisoryThe Municipal Government will be charging all guests in the area of Cozumel an Environmental Sanitation Tax of a minimum $75.99 pesos, ($4.00 usd approximately) per room per night.
