It’s no Holiday at Holiday Inn
It’s no Holiday at Holiday Inn. If there was a recipe to not only Losing a customer but to aggravate them you have found it. It is all timeshare centered! Let’s review, Breach of agreed terms We met all the terms disclosed, specifically the time share agreement terms set at the tour reception centre, their sales team was negligent of following through with what was promised. Eg $200 resort credit. The lies Following the tantrum from the sales man who stormed off from hearing we weren’t interested in the timeshare, The second wave of the sales team told us we were going to get signed off on our forms for the gift card. We were left to wait again. She never returned. Lied about honoring it. Upon sitting for a while and inquiring about the promotion, we were told it would happen at the front desk. (Lied to us again) Front desk said they couldn’t offer us the credit. This poor service is a reflection of the whole company. Clearly the protocols for a customer not interested in a timeshare should be dealt with integrity. I emailed the assistant manager. No response for days from him or his two assistants. How can they have three the JD power and associates customer service award with this service? The timeshare business represents their company. It was brutal.

Customer service does not happen here.
Husband (61), self (58), and son (24.) Rented 2 bdrm place. There for long weekend. Positives: generally nice, with kitchen LR and 2 bdrms and 2 bathrooms. Ok in terms of clean. Met our needs. Lots of options for swimming. Park like setting, with golf course flowing through the community. Cheap get-away for us. Wasn't pestered for time share tour, thank god. Well maintained gardens, close to lots of restaurants and stores (so you can grab groceries and such) Negatives: there were a few, like cost of things at this resort (considering options were off property).. but it is spring break so I'll let it go. Most upset with the handing of issue we brought forth. In short, we woke up at 5:15 am to a groundskeeper using a small machine to clean off the golf cart track. Picture a high pitch vacuum or blow dryer going on and off continually 50-100 feet from your bed.. It went on until 6 am. Had it been 7 or 8, well... I'd have been cranky about the disruption of vacation peace... but it isn't unreasonable. The front desk supervisor did NOTHING to assure me that I wouldn't be woken again tomorrow am. (I was there at 3/14 around noon) Her response after hearing my complaint-- wow, that is early but we contract that out to a third party so... but sorry. She then went on with "not my problem" by saying "oh it happened in the west village, that is someone else. Give me your phone number and she'll call you." Why the need to blame game others. I just want it fixed, I do not want it happening tomorrow. What resort has workers out before the break of down? That is messed up. And it's a big deal to me. I need sleep due to severe health issues that have me here on vacation. It better not happen tomorrow morning, or hell hath big fury. There is lots of places to stay here in Orlando. Ones that don't do time share sales AND also let you sleep past sunrise. - Casa 2101.

Great place
Great place. Staff friendly, and do a good job. Too many dogs. Supposed to be only service dogs. Happy with pools, and disappointed in Legends Golf Course.

Worst Staff, food, and rooms!
This is a terrible place. The rooms are from the 1980s and the kitchens are pathetic. Most importantly, do not agree to a time share presentation. The staff is sleazy used cat sales people. They will pay you the promised money unless you buy. The pools are dirty and the food is bad. Do not stay here!

We love Orange Lake, but hope communication gets better
Orange Lake is wonderful, many pools and hot tubs to choose from, and the refillable soda cup is a must! We ended up in a room that wasn’t updated, but everything was still very nice, just dated. We originally were in a room that had a broken elevator and we were on the 6th floor. We were able to move the next day, but had to keep reminding workers that we were moving. Overall, Orange lake is wonderful, and we definitely will go back.
- AdvisoryOur watersport rental vendor has pulled out of the agreement to rent boats and water sports stuff. We are currently in the process of finding a new vendor, but watersports rentals will be temp closed until we find a new vendor.
