    Planet Hollywood Rocks

    We arrived on 30th August for our wedding anniversary and WOW!!! What a fantastic time we have had.All our meals and buffet have been delicious.The rooms are well designed and double sinks.The staff go the extra mile all the time.Franky Boy on the beach was a outstanding service.The activities round the pool with Adi were so much fun and great entertainment.The gym and classes were amazing.So much to do here.

    Great holiday

    Stayed at a few Royaltons, this one wasn’t at the same level due to daytime food choices and the buffet wasn’t as good as the other hotels. Restaurants were very nice though. But a great service from all the staff, friendly, helpful. The pull out bed in the room wasn’t the best, the kids complained as they always hurt themselves getting in bed and it wasn’t the comfiest. The kids loved the lazy river and the pools. The daytime and nighttime entertainment team were amazing. The only thing I was annoyed at, a group of 200+ adults took over the family pool for a party. So we couldn’t use the pool as it was full and the music and vibe was more adult based… the massive adult pool was empty all day, I feel they should have used that one !! A few staff members to mention as they went the extra mile: Clarissa (concierge) Nando (entertainment) Allen (entertainment) Benjamin (entertainment) Yoshi (entertainment) The whole entertainment team… too many to remember.     Very nice all-inclusive experience

    Planet Hollywood Cancun is a very nice resort on the north side of the Cancun area. It’s clearly designed for those who want to stay on property and not venture far off (but Ubers are pretty easy to get). The following is a breakdown of our experience: - Food: plentiful but usually bland. Only a few items were bad; but, conversely, only a few items were stellar. Also, reservations to restaurants are tough to get. - Drinks: the alcohol here is good quality and the drinks are well-made. Some bartenders are better than others; but we never encountered a bad drink, nor difficulty getting a drink. One bartender was absolutely incredible - if you can find Princess, he will make all of your drink dreams come true. - Pools: all of the pools were clean and well designed. The water temperature was lovely and the experience in them was good. - Grounds: it’s a good sized resort, so it does take time to get around; however, it’s not hard to get where you are going. Many things are concentrated around the main lobby areas, so you easily remember your way. - Service: everyone is very nice. Some definitely go farther out of the way to help; but nobody was difficult. The sales pitches are pretty excessive. For example, “have you gone to a 90-minute time share presentation? I’ll give you half off on a $400 massage.” No to both the presentation and the crazy massage. - Pre-arrival: the sales pitches starts weeks in advance. You can pick your room for $100. You can sign up for a private dinner (4x). Did you know Star Class is the only way you’ll have fun? (It’s not. You will have a great time without it.) Overall, if you get the right price for your room this is a total win. It’s not a five-star resort but it’s a strong four.

    Excellent à la carte options

    My entire stay at this hotel was made infinitely better due to the numerous restaurant options. It was easy to pick through the app and I was so glad to pick Sutra the night before I left. The chef, Sanjeev, was incredibly sweet and the flavour in his food was impeccable. The best way to end of my trip. My only regret is not choosing Sutra earlier. Amazing chef and food.
