Great trip at the Royalton Chic Cancun!
The Royalton Chic was a great place to stay while on my first trip to Cancun! It is on a great section of beach, and the hotel itself is very modern and very chic. ;) We opted to upgrade to the Diamond package to get a better room and it did not disappoint. The room was spacious, spotless, and the view was amazing. The water was amazing to look at from our balcony. For all the people (like me) who care about bed comfort. The bed was very comfy. It gave my back enough support, but also felt like I could sink into it. Additionally, due to our Diamond upgrade. The best part of our stay was the butler service. Our butler Victor Neiman was awesome!! He was super friendly, helpful, and just a pleasure to be around. He answered all of our crazy questions and had a good sense of humor while doing it. Definitely ask for Victor if you get the Diamond upgrade package! The all-inclusive aspect of the resort was also great. There were alot of dining options. We mostly stuck to the seafood and mexican food options while we were there.

Good Times
Even during a tropical storm, Good times were had. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. The Royalton Chic caters to your needs from the time you check in until you check out. A very enjoyable place to stay.

Awesome Diamond Club Experience with our butler Victor
This was our first visit to a Royalton property and overall, it was a nice experience. The staff was great all around, but I really think our Diamond Club butler, VICTOR Neiman was the factor that look our experience to another level. Victor was great from beginning to end. Upon booking he showed us around and took time to explain all of the hotel's amenities. And because of our late flight in, all dinner options were booked, but he made a few calls and helped us get dinner reservations at one of the restaurants. He also helped us make massage appointments with the spa (the spa is fabulous!) and when we needed Victor, we never had to track him down because he came to wherever we were. It was great knowing we had such a helpful and knowledgeable person readily available to assist us and because of this, we think the Diamond Club was money well spent. Our rooms were awesome, clean and updated, and our housekeeper was fabulous!! The spa is beautiful, clean, and very relaxing. The buffet at breakfast was one of the best I've ever experienced at an all-inclusive resort. At the pool, Arianny was excellent, friendly and extremely attentive to help us with food and drinks as needed. There was also a younger guy there who worked mostly on the beach side-- I'm sad I can't remember his name but he helped us tremendously with getting situated on the beach by cleaning the bird poop off the chairs, rearranging the umbrellas for better shade, and providing extra towels. On the downside, the hotel building itself needs repairs in several places. For example, there are damaged door trims, an inoperable elevator, the wood paneling on the top floor gave in twice while our small group was trying to take a photo, and while at the pool a large piece of structural debris fell off one the side of the building and onto a lounge chair. Thankfully, no one was sitting in that lounge chair at that moment. But the rest of the trip, I felt concerned about these types of safety hazards. Overall, we had a nice experience and we look forward to trying other Royalton properties.

Amazing Trip!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Royalton Chic and we have to say that our stay was one of the best experiences we had. To start off, our butler Diego was simply THE BEST!! Not only was he super friendly and caring, but he made sure everything was always taken care of to ensure we were enjoying our trip. He was helpful from day one up until our last day there. 100% best customer service was from Diego! Miguel, Arianny, and Carlos also gave us great service. Miguel was very friendly and helpful in the Diamond Club. On the beach and at the pool, Arianny and Carlos were also friendly and took great care of us. Overall, their customer service was excellent! To start off with, the location of the resort is very convenient. You are in the Hotel Zone, so pretty much walking distance to everything and not too far from the airport either. The resort was absolutely GORGEOUS, inside and out. We immediately fell in love the minute we walked into the lobby. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and always spotless, with everything in perfect working order. The beach was literally paradise—so peaceful and relaxing! Catch the sunrise if you can - you won’t regret it! The pools were also large and a great spot to relax or grab a drink, with daily pool parties that kept things lively and entertaining. There was plenty of entertainment in the evenings, including rooftop parties that were always fun. The quality of food at the restaurants wasn’t bad either. I personally loved Chopstix! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was our first time visiting Mexico and we couldn’t be happier with our trip experience. I would 100% recommend this resort to anyone and I would most definitely visit again.

Royalton Chic Cancun Initial Food Impressions
Hotel Initial Review: Gluten-Free Frustration in Cancun Whilst the staff and room were positive aspects, this hotel unfortunately fell short in accommodating guests with dietary restrictions, particularly those with celiac disease. Key Issues: * Limited Gluten-Free Dessert Options: The gluten-free station at the hotel's buffet restaurant was virtually empty, with mostly bread and very occasional, but certainly not consistent, supplies of small muffins and chocolate brownies, however, nothing that could be classed as a 'dessert' or pudding available. Perhaps with additional dietary labelling at the different stations/dishes, such as contains nuts/gluten/dairy etc, this would assist selections, not just for confectionary and desserts, but for everything else too. * No Gluten-Free Ice Cream in the buffet restaurant: This is a common gluten-free option that was surprisingly absent from the menu for everyone, not just celiacs * Lack of Gluten-Free Options at Insomnia, (the coffee shop), who had a wide variety of delicious sandwiches and treats for a 'standard' diet, but no gluten-free choices whatsoever.... apart from some ice cream! Not a dietary issue but the room mini bar is beyond disappointing. Positives: * Helpful Staff: The staff were friendly and accommodating, offering to prepare custom gluten-free meals with advance notice. * Clean Room: The room was well-maintained and comfortable. Overall: Whilst the hotel has potential, its current gluten-free offerings are insufficient for guests with Celiac disease. Improvements in this area would significantly enhance the experience for travellers with dietary restrictions. Have to say that this is by far the worst and most disappointing culinary experience I have had of any previous hotels in which I have stayed I in Cancun (Iberostar, Riu Palace Peninsula, Le Blanc). After only 5 days (of 21), I am not particularly looking forward to my remaining time. I will review further into my stay.
