  Royalton chic cancun.

  Stayed at the Royalton chic cancun 8th-22nd September 2026. The location of the hotel was amazing less than a 5 minute walk from the strip, and about 15min walk to the ferry terminal for Isle Mujeres. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and the food was very good as well, We found Hunters and the sports bar were the best places to eat, buffet hall was okay. The atmosphere in the hotel is really good. Room was clean and spacious. We stayed diamond club and ARTURO AND MARISOL were spot on as butlers. Just want to list all the people that made the stay!! Marisol & Arturo (butlers) Bar staff Kevin Carlos Sosa Luis Cintia Jorge Ana Oscar Sonia Dania Wendy Omar ( diamond club pool butler). Alejandra Mauricio Sergio Donis Oskar Brian (Diamond club) lounge Daniel Juan I really do hope this recognition gets passed on to the staff as they really do make your holiday and are a credit to your hotel, nothing was ever too much trouble for them at all. Will definitely be booking to come back.

  Amazing First Trip to Cancun — Loved Royalton CHIC!

  It was our first time visiting Cancun with friends, and after comparing quite a few hotels, we ultimately chose Royalton CHIC. We were very happy with our decision. The staff were all friendly and professional, and the drinks were great as well. Just like their slogan, “Party Your Way,” we had such a fun and memorable time here. A special thank-you to our butlers, Iran and Sandra. On our very first night, they helped us make all of our restaurant reservations, which made the rest of our trip so much smoother and more relaxing. We had such a wonderful experience at Royalton CHIC that Cancun has definitely become a place we’ll want to come back to again and again.

  Wonderful Butler Service from Monse & Daniel

  Monse and Daniel were wonderful throughout my stay. They were friendly, attentive, and always available to help with reservations or anything else I needed. They also made my birthday extra special with a beautiful setup in my room, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Daniel even brought my requested drink to my room on my final evening so I could relax while getting ready to leave the next morning. I truly appreciated their hospitality and the personal touches they added to my birthday trip. Thank you, Monse and Daniel, for taking such great care of me!

  Great vacation and service

  We really enjoyed the resort, the atmosphere, and the views. The Diamond Club experience was definitely worth it for us, especially with the level of service we received. A huge part of what made our trip so special was our butler, Arturo. He was absolutely amazing! He was friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. He went above and beyond and truly made us feel taken care of. Thank you to everyone at Royalton CHIC for such a memorable vacation, and an extra special thank you to Arturo for taking such great care of us! We would definitely come back and would absolutely request Arturo again!

  Decent Week :)

  Visited this resort with my husband and had a good time. We are frequent travellers and this resort was our 32nd vacation in 8 years. So I feel my review comes from extensive experience. For clarity I would like to mention we have stayed at low budget to high budget throughout our travels ….and everything in between. Some examples are “Moon Palace”, “Valentin Riveria”, “Paradisis La Perla” and many Royaltons including the CHIC in D.R. I am giving Royalton CHIC Cancun a solid 4 star. Many pros but unfortunately many cons as well. The food was a big let down, however I know this can be very subjective…we all have different taste. However I am basing my review on other all inclusive resorts. And here, the food is below average. Entertainment was average…..not much happening at night. The body painting was extremely boring and hard to watch. The roof top bar is very MISLEADING! Most days/nights it’s closed. And when it to open, it’s for a private event and the cost to join is $300 USD pp. Entertainment is definitely below average however Diego from the Vibe Team was AMAZING! He’s a five star employee and was the only highlight of the entertainment. The rooms! Where do I begin! It was cleaned everyday but not well. I had to leave a towel on my bedside to wipe my feet every night…. I don’t think the floor was swept the entire week. But here’s my biggest issues…. THE SMELL!!!!! These rooms are very damp!!!! And the smell of mold/mildew was starting to make me sick towards our final days. It was so strong and would hit you in the face as soon as you opened the door. Others had the same complaint. The sheets felt so uncomfortable to sleep in due to the dampness. Minor issues that are not fault of the hotel: people smoking around the pool, people blasting their own music on massive speakers near the pool. During our visit we witnessed two people vomiting in the pool, elevator and someone was barfing in the plate at the lunch buffet. You seriously can’t make this stuff up!!!! Also, please stop with the pushy Time Share/Prime Membership. We did not fall for the meeting because we are experienced, but we saw many people roped into the breakfast sit down with them. At least let them finish their week to make a decision. They grab you on day 2! Even leaving a note in your door saying you are invited to their anniversary celebration. It’s a scam, don’t fall for it. We didn’t, but almost did. Some things we loved were: THE STAFF! All amazing people and outstanding service. Hunters Steakhouse was delicious. The views are incredible. Location is excellent. The coffee shop is a nice place with a good selection. Great party vibe if that’s what you are looking for (but not in the evenings). Reservations for the à la cartes were fairly easy to navigate and reserve. At the end of the day, we base our review on the price we paid. For this resort we paid $1530 CAD out of Toronto on WestJet airlines and this is a great price for the value. Highly recommended if you can get that price range. However, I would not pay more than that. Great place but lots of room for improvement. Thank you Royalton for a good week.
