Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Hotel Spring Break Policy - Student Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at Hotel. student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room. This could refer to but not limited to high school students or college students booking multiple rooms. The hotel reserves the right to deny lodging to any reservations of this type.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.

Oct 02, 2024Don’t waste hard earned money!
This was our 4th time back, so we knew what to expect, although we did not expect this resort to go downhill so fast. . No liquor in room, so much construction we had to change rooms, rude staff in rose water and at concierge, no one smiles, it seems like every word you say or drink you ask for is an inconvenience. Food went downhill. . The only saving grace was the excellent service from Luis at the Secrets Bar and Steven/Angela with the entertainment service.

Overall the resort is nice. A little construction happened during our stay, but it did not ruin it. The staff was wonderful in every department. The entertainment staff was great! We enjoyed that the Secrets side was very relaxing, but that we had access to the Breathless side and that we could participate in activities at both! The beach itself was nice, but the ocean floor in that area was very rocky, so spending time in the water was not an option unless you were using a watercraft. The sea was also not clear, it was murky, so snorkeling was not an option. The beach/ sand was lovely to walk on, especially at night.

Construction was Loud at the pool
I was very disappointed that we weren't made aware of the construction that was taking place at the pool. We could have booked our vacation at any number of resorts and we would have chosen another one had we known about the construction.

Secrets Riviera Resort and Spa
My time at the spa was amazing despite the storm. Didn’t have a lot of time at the pool or the beach due to the storm, but the room was so amazing. It didn’t make a difference. The service was professional, and they were always right at my door as soon as I asked for something The food is some of the restaurants Could’ve been better the most amazing place was the French restaurant. The atmosphere was amazing. The food tasted great and the style was very professional. The spa was an ultimate experience that I’ll never forget. I was very happy with my stay I will go back in the future.

I am seriously wondering if some of the people that left negative reviews stayed at the same resort as us! We have been to many resorts but this was by far our favourite. The staff and service made us feel so pampered. The hurricane did not stop us from having an amazing time, the workers worked diligently to ensure the beach was cleaned up and ready for guests as fast as they could. The food at Rosewater and the French restaurant were our favorites. Hibachi left a little to be desired- but ordering off the menu was top notch! We loved that we didn’t need to wear wrist bands, and most of the staff greeted us by name and would bend over backwards to ensure we were happy. Typically we prefer a more relaxed vibe but would head over to breathless for a bit more party atmosphere and then head back to secrets when we wanted to chill. Highlight was the silent disco (never been to one, didn’t think it would be so fun) after going we wished it was on every night! Shout out to a few very special staff members that made this trip special: Mar!! She is incredible with her sunny demeanor, and man she sure can hustle around the pool always making sure you’re taken care of. Steven made sure you were always having fun. Fransisco and Fernando at Rosewater! Luis with the meanest espresso martini we’ve ever had! We never duplicate resorts but we will be back!
