    Stunning quaint ocean views

The resort overall was amazing, the area was so beautiful and the resort was small and quaint. The staff was nice and attentive, someone was always around to get you anything you could need. The rooms were clean and well stocked and the housekeeping was on top of their game! I would highly recommend it. For food service, this is where they came in as average for all inclusive, not the best, but definitely not the worst. Breakfast was amazing every day!!!! With it being a smaller resort, by day 7 we were a bit bored with the food.

Another amazing trip to this exceptional resort! The staff is truly what makes these trips incredible! Thank you to Manny and Freddy in the cabanas for taking such great care of us, Luiz and Elsa at the pool are always wonderful, Julia in the preferred club, Hugo at the preferred club bar. Our maid had our room perfectly clean every day, then returned for turn down service every evening. Thank you all for giving our family such a wonderful vacation! We will be back!

Good resort overall - Great staff

We spent 8 days at this property in September 2024. First the good: 1. Oscar and Louis at the main pool bar were incredible. Got to know both of them very well. They were fun to talk to, made great drinks, and were very customer-oriented. Get to know these guys they will take care of you! 2. The entertainment team at the main pool. Nirvana, Cali, and the entire team were great. Fun to hang with played a ton of games, always greeted us, and invited everyone to play at the pool. They made the entire 8 days enjoyable. 3. Overall the resort is clean, the staff is friendly and the main pool and nightly entertainment were on point. 4. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Don't miss it. The fish tacos at the pool were great and the beach restaurant was fast and not too bad for lunch. 5. Our "upgrade" allowed us access to a special lounge with food and drinks. I went there most days and was never asked to provide anything proving I had access. It was nice to have a quiet air-conditioned space to relax before dinner or grab a snack. Don't pay for it, just walk in like you own the place (lol). 6. The SPA massages were amazing! Worth the investment for 80 minutes. WATCH THE STEPS - 2 people fell coming into the spa. Areas for improvement 1. We booked a junior suite with a king bed. When we arrived, we were told they were out of king beds until Wednesday (3 days). We could get one now if we upgraded for $500 or we could move on Wednesday. - Reluctantly I paid the fee. Outside of a king bed, I'm not sure what the upgrade was actually for. Small room, TINY bathroom. Nothing special to be honest other than the view (see picture). 2. Dinner left a lot to be desired, especially if you're looking for beef. The steaks were simply terrible. No-seasoning, overcooked, and tough doesn't begin to describe how bad the steaks were. Italian was OK, but stay away from Beef! 3. Finally, at no time during our booking or registration process did the hotel disclose it was under construction. The adult pool was open, but no bar, no service, no music, no nothing, including guests. It was dead, which forced everyone to the main pool causing a bad shortage of chairs most days. I believe 2 restaurants were closed during the construction, and at times, especially in the morning, the noise was a bit much. They should have disclosed that! 4. The staff that is on-site trying to book excursions etc... are borderline unethical. They approach you like they know you, tell you they have something for you and the next thing you know they are pitching you a timeshare vacation, excursions, etc.. It got old quickly - I finally just was rude and walked right past them. Quite annoying and Hyatt should know better than to allow this.
