Oct 02, 2024Great experience for first time in Cabo
This was a great trip. Actually, the first trip my wife and I made to the Cabo area. We chose Secrets based on reviews and price. As an adults only all inclusive resort, it was fantastic. Very relaxing. Awesome ambience. Terrific service. Fantastic food. Would definitely return. The down side - beware of the upsale. There is pressure to upgrade your room, spend more money and to join some travel club. Just say no and you're ok. Per the upgrade, a room with the swim out pool would be nice. That one I would recommend if it fits your budget. What I don't recommend is the upgraded ocean view with jetted tub on the balcony. View is nice, but not necessarily worth the cost and the tub is not private. I could reach out and shake hands with the neighbor setting in their tub. Not ideal.

Very nice resort. Rooms were clean and generous, service and friendliness of all staff was fantastic. Food was above average for a resort (I believe you will always get better food locally). Pool area was clean, relaxing, and very nice. The resort even accommodated my request to watch my NFL team play on Sunday by opening one of the night clubs for football viewing. Originally-assigned room had an AC issue and we were quickly provided a new room and help moving.

i love thizzzz hotel! our room was beautiful and it was cleaned everyday to perfection...the restaurants were all great meals & great experiences...the bars all served perfect tropical drinks...the best part of my visit was the entertainment staff who made me feel like a kid all day and night...also, pickleball was a great surprise to find and play everyday...thank u david, lucy kitcher, ivan, fernando and everyone who is didn't mention....muchas gracias

El Patio-Martín the waiter
Martin at El Patio is absolutely the best! His service, pleasantries, and warmth makes your dinner absolutely wonderful! I want him to be my server every night! He made delicious suggestions, and made the dining experience so fun! He’s amazing.
