2nd time at the resort & they never disappoint. From the greeting to the entertainment, the consistency of a clean room, stocked fridge & amazing staff. I will always go back.

I had a fantastic eight-night stay at RIU MONTEGO BAY. Dana Lee, who welcomed us upon arrival, was incredibly polite and professional, setting the tone for a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was just right. However, I was very disappointed with the room service staff responsible for stocking the bar. Despite two inventory checks and multiple calls to reception, the bar wasn't restocked for four days. It wasn't until I personally spoke to a helpful receptionist, Kadidra, that the issue was resolved. The room service staff in this area deserves a 0/10 rating. On the other hand, the housekeeping staff, particularly the kind Cuban lady, were professional and did an excellent job. Our waiter, Andre, was attentive and always had a friendly smile. The entertainment staff was also top-notch.

Clean resort,friendly staff GREAT FOOD AND FANTASTIC NIGHTLY ENTERTAINMENT. We had a birthday stay and check in Guest Service Agent mentioned well wishes. Hotel was packed. The room was spacious and clean enough ( sofa had stains), fridge was nicely stacked but unplugged lol ( room electrician came quickly). We didn't use housekeeping Service much but she did introduce herself and helped with little things like coffee machine. Thanks Andrea!! The welcome drinks were good and bell Service Agents were friendly and helpful. We plan on trying the other RIU next time to compare #puntaCana

Birthday celebration
Family group of 11 celebrated two cousins special birthdays 50 & 55. A time was had. We definitely recommend.

Sep 29, 2024Total crap do not visit or stay here unless your on drugs are alcoholic want a bleach filled pool and don’t sleep
A disgusting place with no management control. A centre for cannabis smoking drug taking drunkenness and fighting. Foul language by staff ( staff called Roly poly disgusting )and sleep disturbed every night by fights and arguments.pool smells of bleach and caused skin burns and bleach burns to swimwear.complaints to managers not acted on . Avoid like plague!! Needs closing down .
