For Partying, Yes!!!!
I was at the RIU Montego Bay from August 21 to August 26, 2024. Cons: - After booking months ahead of time, my room wasn't ready when I got there. I had to wait almost 1 hour for a room. Not to mention my 11am Arrival time was pushed to 1pm due to flight delay. They really need to work on that. - There are many food options. However, the food was not so good because I didn't feel it was fresh.. However, you'll find something to eat regardless. - Please provide the housekeepers with gloves. They were excellent but always useful bare hands to pick up the linens. They need to be protected as well. - No toothbrush, toothpaste or soap bar is given. I wish they told me that ahead of time - I wish they served ice cream near the pool areas for those of us who are tired of liquor. - Can't bring no kind of food to your room. - The main lobby is so hot, they should have an or fan blowing. - The sandwiches at the nighttime sports bar is disgusting. Please have better options for late night meals when restaurants are closed. - I was supposed to have a birthday room decor but that never happened. Pros - James and Kevin at the front desk. - Christopher and Jamelia, They were servers in the main hall, loved them. - The entertainment team. They make sure that you experience pure entertainment. I would recommend only adding more diverse options for all types of music, especially carribean such as salsa, kompa, and etc. - The lifeguards. - The bar near the pools that serve the liquor. - The white party. Overall, would I come back? Yes, for partying and having fun but not for the food, most especially the main hall food.. The steak restaurant and the Italian were the best.

Great option for a friends holiday
Great 4 star option. There’s multiple pools, with the option to use the livelier pool party if you want to. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are large, clean and modern and the resort is super accessible. We have been here a week and never had an issue with getting a sunbed. I wouldn’t recommend for couples. It’s a nice resort but it’s more geared up to friends and they have non resident packages so you do get swarms of locals visiting in the evening to attend the entertainment. Not our scene but it didn’t bother us. We did a 2hr snorkelling trip from the hotel water centre, around £45 - excellent to break up the week RastaSafari was also an excellent trip. No issue being 15min from the airport. Planes fly over but we liked that and it’s quick from the airport. Paula at breakfast (server outside) was brilliant. Preemptive service, friendly, approachable and nothing too much trouble. She deserves a promotion!

Nope, no, never again!
Booked a 5 day trip. Very basic resort, only bottom shelf liquor, pools close at 6p, not much of a beach, no room service, lack luster entertainment. The Riu app listed smoothie options at the various bars but they were actually frozen slushies and according to the bartenders the bars do not have fresh fruit. The food options at the main dining room were the same every single day. The same foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner with only minor changes. The menu at the specialty restaurants only gave 3/4 options to choose from and reservations had to be made at least 1 day in advance. They advertised the sports bar being open 24/7 with food provided but the options were very disappointing. I was expecting wings, flatbread, fries etc but instead it was a fridge with premade cold sandwiches and burgers that you are to heat in the microwave, a nacho and cheese machine with stale chips and a popcorn machine with stale popcorn and crumbs from mini patties because they dont restock often enough. The best part of my trip was the time I spent away from the resort. I would not recommend!!!
