Not as nice as I anticipated. Food was very poor in quality. Entertainment was not the greatest. Will not return.

Great time! Wished when checking in all the amenities were explained, but the ball was dropped on the company I work for. Food is great, staff attentive and friendly. Hard to have spicy time with my significant other, but it was more less do to my company wanted us to not have the sign on the door due to gifts being delivered by staff. Resort staff was just doing what they were told. Overall I would love not to make it a business driven, but a family vacation spot.

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. It was our first time in Mexico so we really weren’t sure how it was going to go. We chose this because it looked quieter (away from the super busy part of PV) and had an adults only side as well. The restaurants food was really good and had lots of seafood options as we don’t eat meat. They also had a big variety of gluten free options and meals in general so I never felt left out. The buffet on the kids side was not good, but the breakfast buffet on the adults side was awesome! There was a huge variety of drinks so we always were trying something new and never got bored of the options. We upgraded to the preferred club option and we LOVED the rooftop bar that was exclusive to it, the pool area and bar was never too busy (except on one weekend day) so it was like having our own private service. I speak a little bit Spanish and most of the service was super happy about this and entertained my practice and learning which I really appreciated.

AMAZING STAY - INCREDIBLE SERVICE
We selected the preferred stay and we had a butler that was assigned to us. Frida was unbelievable and one of the most wonderful part of the trip. We had never ending access to activities, great food, beautiful views, and even though we were there for a wedding we still got so much time for ourselves.

Excellent staff
We loved our time at Bahia Mita. We decided to spend our honeymoon here and loved every minute of it. Every employee is so helpful & ready to serve with any request. The resort grounds are gorgeous and well kept. We felt so taken care of from every area. First, our butler Elizabeth was top notch. She checked in everyday with us and had an answer for everything and helped us with any task. Including printing special document for us to sign. Very quick to reply, made every reservation, and always easy to get ahold of. She was such a joy to have. Leo, our main cabana/pool guy at the secrets pool gave us the best service. There was never an empty drink he didn’t recognize and work to get you a refill. Checked in with you with every lap he made around the pool. Friendly smile & made every request seem possible. Joel & Daniel & Efrain & Africa for the pool entertainment were so FUN!! We enjoyed every class we took in the water with them. Jose at seaside grill was the most attentive and truly appreciated his top notch service to use during lunch. & our interaction with Jilly from unlimited vacation club was fantastic. All of these people and more would bring me back to secrets Bahia Mita for any occasion. For it being rainy season, the weather was absolutely beautiful. Rained in the morning, sunny the whole afternoon, then beautiful lighting shows at night. Also loved it being an off season so the resort was not packed. Was easy to feel like you had the place to yourself.
