Indeed A Luxury stay!
Royalton Splash! Is for EVERYONE! They make sure they accommodate from youngest to oldest. I will start with how fast and nice check in is. ALL front desk clerks are professional and very helpful and friendly. Rooms are always clean and our housekeeper Rosa was always attentive. To me All restaurants were amazing in their own way. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was exceptional! Most inclusive resorts food are trash but Royalton doesn’t disappoint. A must try is the Mayan Dinner Show! Excitement and very interesting Mayan inspired dishes for a cost of an extra $50 pp ofcourse, but worth every penny! Now when it comes to oh! Lord have mercy! They got it All! I enjoyed the water park w my kids and let let me tell you guys that shiiii wasssss scary but we Loved it! Pools are clean. In the night everything gets even better! There is something every night and make sure to be early because the seats gets full and trust me you will want to have the best seat! The kids club is AMAZING my 9 yr old Son and nieces and nephews wanted to be there all the time! The staff make sure the kids have Ana unforgettable time! They can’t wait to be back in August. So if you are planning a family vacation Royalton Splash should definitely be a place to think about!

Amazing trip to Cancun! Thank you Ivan!
Incredible Family Getaway at Royalton Splash Cancun! We had the most amazing stay at Royalton Splash Cancun this April, and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional — the beach was pristine, the pools were perfect, and the drinks kept flowing. The food was absolutely delicious, with something for everyone, and every meal felt like a treat. This was our first vacation with our two-year-old, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A huge thank you to our incredible butlers, Ivan and Enrique, who truly went above and beyond. Ivan, in particular, was always in touch with us and made sure every detail was taken care of — from seamless dinner bookings to thoughtful touches that made our son’s trip extra special. The Diamond Club is well worth it — top-notch service, exclusive perks, and a real feeling of being pampered. We dined twice at the Italian restaurant, and it quickly became our favorite. The view from the restaurant was absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere was just perfect. A special shoutout to Morales, whose service was over-the-top amazing — friendly, attentive, and truly made each dinner unforgettable. The butler service overall was phenomenal, and honestly, we can’t say enough good things about Ivan’s care and attention throughout our stay. This trip gave us memories we’ll cherish forever, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking to relax and be truly taken care of! ⸻

Fun at The Royalton Splash!
We had a wonderful time at the Royalton Splash in December 2024. I’ve been meaning to post a review, but life happens. :-) You can’t go wrong if you book “Diamond Club Status”-worth the extra money. The resort is absolutely beautiful and very clean. The staff were very professional and polite at all times. Our butlers, Milton and Pablo, were a 10 out of 10 as they always went above and beyond to ensure that all of our needs and requests were met. We’re praying that Pablo and Milton can be our butlers on our next stay at the Royalton Splash, which will be in a few days. We stayed in an oceanfront swim out junior suite (Diamond Club). The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. There was a well stocked fridge, a safe, bathrobes, slippers, a beach bag, a great bathroom (multi-functioning shower, separate luxury tub, and soap/shampoo/toiletries). There was a jacuzzi right outside the sliding doors/balcony area, which was beside the swim out pool area-superior ocean views/very nice! The only issue we had was with the jacuzzi as the water level couldn’t be maintained. Maintenance serviced the jacuzzi several times, but each time it was refilled, the water level dropped to almost empty. We’re hoping the jacuzzi issues have been resolved-they tried, though. Our attentive and fabulous butlers, Milton and Pablo, surprised us with many in-room treats such as chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of wine, balloons, etc., and we loved it! We loved communicating with our butlers via What’s App and face to face. We thoroughly enjoined the food and service at the Japanese restaurant, the steakhouse, and the Brazilian restaurant-delicious! The buffet was pretty decent as well. Food at the buffet was well stocked and the hostesses/wait staff were very pleasant every time we ate at the buffet. The pizza was yummy at the little restaurant by the water park and the gelato that’s served in various areas of the resort is yummy as well. We attempted to eat at the sports bar for lunch one day, but service was extremely slow, so we opted for the Italian restaurant and the food was ok. Service at the Italian restaurant was great! The Diamond Club lounge was superb!! There was always a pretty good variety of food at the mini buffet and top shelf drinks are served at the bar (less crowded than the other bars on the resort and quality alcohol). The bartenders were friendly and the drinks were good. We spent a lot of time in the Diamond Club lounge area because it was very peaceful and you could stay in there to eat, drink, lounge, or just enjoy the gorgeous ocean views. A mini breakfast bar is also set up in this area each morning, so you can avoid the crowds in the regular buffet. There are several other restaurants and a few food trucks that we didn’t try, but we plan on trying them when we return to the resort. The pool areas were always clean and attendants were there to assist with towels. The waiters in the pool areas worked extremely hard to get drinks to everyone in a timely manner. Remember to secure lounge chairs early (we never had a problem securing loungers). The beach area is very nice with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. Security patrols the beach and the entire resort, so we always felt safe. We didn’t get a chance to try out the lazy rivers or the water slides, but we plan on going back to the resort in a few days to give them a try!!! The resort has numerous water slides for kids and adults, a mini lazy river (Diamond Club pool area), and a large lazy river. Daily and nightly entertainment kept everyone engaged. We enjoyed the shows each night of our stay (good productions). We would definitely recommend this resort to couples, families, and groups of friends. The staff was always pleasant to all guests and that really stood out to us! Tips: -Book Diamond Club for the ultimate experience- personal butlers; access to the Diamond Club lounge; premium drinks at the Diamond Club lounge bar; butlers secure great times for dinner at the restaurants; butlers attend to your requests/no stress with any requests; one free hydro therapy session which was excellent -Great resort! -Please tip butlers, servers, housekeeping, spa workers, luggage attendants, etc., if you’re able to do so as they work hard for their money and they appreciate tips.

Really good time at a lovely hotel
I wrote a review for the group on Facebook that I am re-sharing here.. Thought I’d leave a review having just got back from a 10 night stay and hopefully reassure some of you on some of the things we were worried about 🥰 Sun loungers - genuinely we experienced no issues at all with loungers in the full 10 days we were there for. Granted we were actually by the pool for 7:30ish anyway as we have a 5 year old and uk jet lag meant we naturally were getting up super early. It did however mean though that because we were down so early I can 100% say there are no issues getting sun loungers with parasols even up until around 10/11am. Naturally it gets busier around lunch time as you’d expect. Obviously this may be different dependent on the time of year but this was my experience. Restaurant bookings - again, had no issues whatsoever really getting bookings, just do them the day prior. No need to faf on booking them at midnight. We were however a group of 3 so this may be different for larger groups. There was one evening where we walked into the Italian without a booking and got a table straight away. Food - food was actually pretty good for an all inclusive. The Grazie to go by the cave did such good pizzas - what I will say is that the pizza from here is so much better than the Grazie restaurant (I don’t know why they taste different but they do). The other restaurants we did was Agave, Hunters, Taj and the Cave. They were all really good. Some dishes a bit hit and miss and some were excellent but I guess that’s the same wherever you go? Ice cream - never any issues with flavours or variety. Another top tip is that if there’s a long queue in the Scoops bar, you can go into the buffet as there’s an ice cream counter there. The kids and evening entertainment was exceptional. Really cannot fault the quality of the shows they were putting on. They went above and beyond. Drinks - never felt like the drinks were watered down, if anything, they were pretty strong! Never had an issue with waiting to be served. In fact, our 5 year old would go up to the pool bar for a drink and they would take the time to serve her and make her kids mocktails or soft drinks. Beach - sea isn’t super clear and there is seaweed but we’re not huge beach people anyway so it wasn’t a problem. Equally they try their best to clear it but it’s just a natural thing and there’s only so much they can do. Rooms - rooms were clean and fresh, maybe had a little bit of a funny smell but didn’t bother me really. Really good sized rooms. We didn’t choose our room and we were in building 12 overlooking the mangroves (maybe that’s where the slight smell was coming from) but we did get to see the crocodiles a few times from our balcony which we personally absolutely loved. I don’t think we could have had a more ‘exciting’ room for our 5 year old. Tours - we booked a trip through the hotel. We did Xel-Ha and they arranged transport and it was all inclusive when we got there. I do really recommend this, Xel-Ha was absolutely amazing. Taxis - taxis to get to Cancun/Playa Del Carmen are pretty expensive. If you’re planning on going out of the resort, definitely take this into consideration. It cost us around $140 to go into Playa Del Carmen return. Sun - nothing to do with the hotel but it’s true what people say that the sun is super strong. My husband usually tans well and wears a low factor but he was burning with factor 50 on and reapplied. Make sure you pack a higher factor than you would usually use! Prime - we got collared into chatting about prime a few times (we struggle to say no haha), we would have potentially been interested if they’d have let us know the cost but they won’t until you’ve done a 90 minute tour which we didn’t want to do. It’s annoying and a bit pushy. They also leave a TUI voucher in your room offering some experiences (but this is only if you do the prime 90 minute breakfast and tour). It’s slightly misleading. If you’re not interested just say no and don’t get roped into it like we did haha! Waterpark, splash pad and lazy river - all really good for kids. Our daughter didn’t use the splash pad too much - it also closed part way through our trip but I don’t think she even noticed, she was more interested in the main pools. The splash pad never looked to have that many kids in either to be honest. Lazy river was quite good, it’s pretty ‘lazy’ but it’s quite a nice experience. Takes around 10-15 mins to go round it. Our daughter was too small for the big slides but there’s another mini splash pad in that area. We also never experienced not being able to get a float for the lazy river. I really wish I could remember staff names as we really did have some exceptional staff members serve us during our stay who do deserve to be recognised for their contribution to the brand. Unfortunately my memory when it comes to names is shocking. All in all, we absolutely loved our stay. The staff were lovely and attentive, the hotel is really nice, the food is good, there’s not really anything not to like in all honesty. I also did hear someone moaning in the breakfast buffet that it was too loud next to the glass window so you will always get people that find things to complain about.
