Water park – As previously shared, our Water Park continues to operate seamlessly, boasting an array of 13 monster slides, four splash pad slides, two lazy rivers, and a range of pool amenities. The response from our guests has been overwhelmingly positive. Due to external factors, particularly unusual weather conditions in the region, the completion of the final monster water slide has experienced a necessary extension. To address this, we have proactively rescheduled its availability for our mutual clients to October 15th.

Sep 03, 2026Beautiful clean resort - Royalton Splash Cancun
Beautiful Hotel, lots to do for children. Plenty of great restaurants that we managed to eat at all within our 14 day stay! Taj was our family favourite! Lots of food choices as well as drink choices! The staff are friendly and will assist with anything! In fact Isreal and Marco who worked around the pool made our stay! Always making sure we were hydrated and chatted to us about life. We can’t thank them enough! I keep reading reviews about sickness and never once did we feel poorly, everything is cooked and using the freshly cooked stations -omelettes for breakfast and noodles for dinner . Coffee shop is amazing addition 24 hours of coffee and snacks , smoothies fruit! Ice cream shop is truly a godsend in this heat! Regardless you will not be disappointed when you book!

Stayed here for our family vacation for 7 days. Had an absolute blast. The waterpark with lazy river and waterslides is second to none. Along with the arcade, the kids always had something to do. The rooms were great. Beds very comfortable. The only reason I gave service 4 stars was because there were two times we were waiting a long time for our dinner.... As in people came in and were seated after us and getting their food before us. The servers were still great. Unfortunately the beaches were inundated with so much seaweed that it wasn't worth going to the beach. And have to mention our 2 butlers we had with our Diamond club stay. Gonzalo and Cristian were absolutely fantastic. They literally took care of anything we needed. Just had to tell them when and where we wanted to have dinner. They took care of all the reservations. Would pop up and always check to see if we needed anything. This left us able to enjoy the majority of our days without having to worry about anything. Would let us know what was happening on the resort everyday so we could plan the day. Got a workout in every day. Might be the best resort gym I've been able to workout in on vacation. They have everything. Would definitely stay here again. Hope they solve the beach problem. That would complete the entire stay.

Sep 03, 2026Some parts of trip was good others was average. Could of been better
Checking in with Ivan took about 45 min only to be told no more 2 beds in our room type to get 2 beds we would have to take upgraded room for additional 145 US dollars later reduced to 128 after complaining we paid only to be told room not ready come back in 1 hour which took 1 and 1/2 hr we got there at 430pm got in room 7pm after showering we missed kids night which was 7-8 we made it down at 8 also all restaurants we tried to reserve was booked but was told for a small price like 15 US dollars per person they could fit us in. We received a coupon book which we couldn’t use we wanted spa but it wasn’t for kids we wanted a cabana for the pool but only for the beach and we wanted private dinner but only for 2 people we were 3. I did like the waterpark, pools and lazy river. Room was average but clean and everyday they came around to refill our frig with water, beer and soda. Hospitality needs help.

Sep 02, 2026Cancun’s Sargassum Crisis: Cancun’s Paradise Beaches is a Thing of the Past
If you’re thinking about a vacation where the only goal is to relax, lie on a beautiful beach, and enjoy a few drinks, Cancun and much of the Caribbean coast are not what they used to be. Sargassum has become a serious problem. You can see hotel workers and heavy equipment on the beaches day and night trying to remove it. They clean everything up, and by the next morning, another huge amount can wash ashore. The hotels are fighting a battle that seems almost impossible to win. They can’t simply dump chemicals into the ocean to make it disappear, so they’re left constantly collecting and hauling it away. For a destination that depends so heavily on beautiful, clean beaches, this is becoming a major problem—and unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an easy solution.
