  Excellent Stay!!!

  Thank you Brendan at the front desk! He was so nice and made a great choice in picking the room for my family and I. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends because it’s right across from the beach. This hotel has everything. The atmosphere of the hotel was very relaxing. We made great use of destination fee which includes renting out 2 beach chairs for free. Colby by the other entrance also helped us out with booking a tour of island. Shout out to the housekeeping team who cleaned the room each and everyday, I think Cindy was her name. We will be sure to return to this hotel in the future.

  Outstanding stay; I will be back!

  Full disclaimer: **Waikiki was a bucket list item; one and done….until this trip*+ **I have never been to this property before and I have never met these people before this trip and review** After a long day of travel, I finally arrived at this beautiful Marriott ! I was exhausted, practically incoherent from exhaustion and eventually made my way to the front desk. To put this into more context, as I arrived at the front desk, the Lyft driver came running up the ramp with my cell phone in his hand to let me know I had forgotten my phone in his car. His name was Ray. (More to come on that later) The Marriott associate checking me in for my stay was Kea. He immediately took pity on my situation and could see, I was clearly clearly clearly exhausted! Mind you, I am a public school educator, and I know good schooling when it is given to someone. I admire so many of my colleagues and their professionalism. Kea is one of the best teachers I have ever met in my career.! And I have been teaching for over 25 years! He has patience, answered all my questions, proceeded to answer questions. I didn’t even know I had, wrote down a to-do list for me to do based upon the short time that he knew me and made my trip beyond outstanding!!! I ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant he recommended (delicious), ordered coffee at a specialty nearby coffee shop (I didn’t know existed) and am currently looking at the beautiful pool and ocean from my hotel balcony. And, I am about to get ready for dinner at the Marriott restaurant he recommended to me as well. Day 1 was awesome! As day two was starting and my jet lag was really kicking in, I decided to have an “early” breakfast (11:30 am my local time but 5:30 am Waikiki time) As I was walking near (not at the desk, near the area of the front desk) Sofia (who I met the previous day as well) and Kea asked me to come to the desk. I immediately began getting peppered with questions by both of them; how was your stay so far? How was your room? What did you do yesterday? Ray the Lyft driver was such a great guy and so helpful, where are you going today? Did you try this yet? As I mentioned , Kea literally wrote me an itinerary for my trip! Kea, Sofia, the cleaning staff, the restaurant employees and EVERY staff member I encountered at this property went ABOVE and BEYOND ANY expectation I could have had of this property and stay. The negative: there is construction currently going on from 9 AM to 4 PM daily. However, it was a minor inconvenience and I hardly noticed it. I am uploading some photos as well so you can see first hand, the construction is not an issue. Overall; I’m coming back to this property in the near future (construction or not) as the employees here all made me feel welcome and truly at home. This is a BEAUTIFUL well-maintained property overlooking the beach. I live in NYC, this is not an easy trip but I will definitely be back! A special thank you to Kea and everyone who truly enjoy their profession and it shows! Like I said,it’s a no brained and I will be back sooner than later.

  Marriott Waikiki is a JOKE

  Not only do they sneak surpirse that fact that the balcony's are under construction which results in TERRIBLY LOUD NOISE, but the kids/family pool events at nightg are INSANELY LOUD. As a Bonvoy member, I will never stay here again.

  Fantastic 5-Night Stay – Far Exceeded Our Expectations!

  We are wrapping up up a wonderful 5-night stay at the Waikiki Beach Marriott. Check-in was seamless, and our room was ready right on time with a fantastic view. The beach is right across the street, and we even borrowed the hotel's beach chairs for a day trip to Lanikai Beach! Perks & Dining: As a Titanium Elite member, I found the continental breakfast amenity to be solid (pastries, breads, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, and drinks). We opted to upgrade to the full buffet for hot items and custom omelets, which was well worth it. Location: Unbeatable. The bus stop directly behind the hotel made getting around effortless. Most major restaurants and shopping areas are within a 20-minute walk, and we easily took an Uber for our visit to Pearl Harbor. Was a bit apprehensive initially due to the mixed reviews, but the hotel and staff completely surpassed our expectations. While we’ve visited other Hawaiian islands multiple times, this was our first trip to Honolulu—and we would definitely stay here again! We did not notice the noise or balcony work being performed. It did not impact our stay.

  Excellent Waikiki Properrty

  I continue to choose the Waikiki Marriott Spa & Resort for my business travels to Hawaii! This hotel is in a great location, has excellent views and most importantly provides excellent customer service. The manager Chi continues to ensure his team provides customer service excellence which is what keeps me returning to this property. Going to breakfast at the onsite Kuhio Beach Grill is always a pleasure! Georgette and Kim make guests feel welcomed with their Aloha spirit! The chef Billy at the omelette station is always friendly and makes excellent omelettes! I will continue to return to this property for my business and personal travels.
