  Five stars for the view, six for Valery

  Amazing experience! The food, drinks, and views were incredible, but Valery was the real highlight. He’s an outstanding bartender, has an amazing personality, and that smile should honestly come with a warning 😂 And the entire staff deserves a shoutout—they were all so friendly, attentive, and fun. Everyone made us feel like we were regulars, even though we didn’t want to admit how quickly we were getting comfortable. To end the review, the beach got us here, but Valery might be the reason we come back! 😉

  Jamaican Jerk Paradise

  My girlfriend and I chose this as our getaway of a lifetime and it did not disappoint!! Everyone has been lovely, the service has been top notch and we’re only 3 days in! There’s been a couple things that I need to highlight so far that I haven’t been able to hold in at all… The Water and Silvi’s Jamaican Jerk! Lunch every day on the beach with some of the best food I have ever had. I’m literally writing this review with my feet in the sand and Jamaican Jerk sauce on my hands! I’m in love! 🥹❤️☀️

  Amazing Alexandra

  We stayed 4 nights at the Alexandra Resort and it was absolutely an amazing trip. We came to relax to enjoy retirement and we thoroughly enjoyed the down time. The beach and water were just beautiful. We did exactly what we wanted to do and thoroughly enjoyed the chill vibe of the off season.

  Amazing Experience & Excellent Service

  I had a wonderful experience at Fish Deck on October 4th. Antoine was our server, and he did an amazing job! He was friendly, attentive, professional, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. His great attitude and excellent service really made our dining experience special. Antoine is a great asset to the restaurant, and we truly appreciated his hospitality. We would definitely come back again and recommend Fish Deck to others!!!

  Great beach, clean and new rooms. Alexandra Resort very nice.

  A bit long but hopefully It answers a lot of your questions. We booked the Alexandra Resort in late September through October 3rd. We were a little concerned about the weather but it was perfect. When we arrived we were greeted by Mark at reception and we were given an amazing room facing the beach. This room was a two bedroom with 2 1/2 baths. It had a spacious living room and dining area with a stove, fridge microwave and utensils. It also had beautiful seating outside. The room was outstanding. Pool - The pool is very large and has a great swim up bar. The bartender was always super friendly at the Oasis pool bar and made some really great drinks. The deepest the pool goes is to about 4'. There were plenty of lounge chairs for the guest although the hotel was extremely slow considering the time of year. Beach - This has to be one of the most amazing beaches I have ever been to. The water is crystal clear and the sand is beautiful. They also have a bar on the beach and a waiter Valery who can get you drinks. The bartender at the beach bar Farar is so friendly and she also makes great drinks. They have plenty of chairs here to enjoy a great beach day. We walked the beach one day past the breezes resort which is a huge property. We walked all the way down to the bar called Somewhere. It is a bit of a walk but this is the area where you can possibly see turtles in the early morning. The beach is called Bight Beach. The water there is just as great. Restaurants - They have quite a few. I will break it down. Asu Restaurant - This is where you have breakfast every morning. They have a gentleman who can make your eggs anyway you like with toppings. They also have yogurts, fruits, toast, bagels, sometimes chicken, plantains, shrimp and a few other options. Turquise Grill - You can take your breakfast there and eat looking at the beach or stay indoors at Asu. Here is where you have lunch and at night they call it Black Rock. For lunch you can have finger type food all on a menu. There is no buffett style at this resort. I had conch almost every day and I loved it. They also have salads, wings, burgers fish and pizza (not bad pizza especially being from NY). Irie Bites - This is where you get your Jerk Chicken at lunch. Siva is great. She serves up a great Jerk Chicken with amazing rice, pasta salads some days, plantains or mac and cheese. She also at times has curry goat and pork or beef. This is a must try you will love it if you like a little spice. The Truck Stop - This is toward the back of the pool. Such a nice area to hang out especially at night. They have a few options from Smokey Joes who has Quesadillas, burgers (a must they use real chop meat) chicken and deserts. They also have the taco truck with salads, tacos and ceviche which was also very good. All restaurants have different schedules so please look at the dinning schedule on the website. The Fish Deck - My wife and daughter liked this restaurant. I was ok with it but I am not a fish guy so I wont really rate this. The original Fish Deck was closed the day we ate there but it opened later in the week and is a very nice seating area. Black Rock Grill - The soups are so good along with the shrimp. They have some great steak options for your main course. The flank steak is very good. They also have some purchase options. Lex is a wonderful hosts and welcomes you with a smile. Rose was also our waitress and she was so nice and took good care of us. Smoothie Bar - Mary and Nathaly are so sweet. They have great coffee amazing smoothies and really good acai bowls. (opens at 8am-9pm). They should open earlier for coffee. They also have sandwiches and some light snacks at night time. The Coconut Bar is your go to bar from 11am-midnight. During the daytime we had Rodnel. A true gentleman and great bartender. We also had Peter at the bar and Sky on some nights. They have two tvs at the bar to watch some sports at night which was a plus. Entertainment - They really do not have shows or did not have while we were there. They did some trivia games which were fun during the day with some other games and did pretty well getting a team together considering it was a little slow. Kinron you are such a fun a great host. You are very entertaining and do a good job getting things going. Tash is also a host and wait until you hear her sing. Wow so impressive. Barbie is also a lot of fun and compliments the whole team along with the man playing the music DJ Ding. Being a DJ myself he is pretty good. On Thursday they did a pool party where Ding played some great hits. A few things about the property. It is not very large and can feel a little small after a few days and taxis are super expensive. We did not go out much because we did not want to pay the fares they would charge. It really is relaxed atmosphere and a place to unwind. But if you want to go out they do have some place they could recommend. Most people will tell you Danny Buoys but we did not go. They have bicycles to use but two of the three bikes we used the chain came off. Luckily I know how to put them back but the bikes are not great. You have a bus that take you to the sister property about every 40 minutes. The sister property does have a nice restaurant fire and ice and the food is pretty good they also have top shelf drink at this location. The pool here is an infinity pool and is very nice but do not go for the beach as this is not really a beach at all. I am glad we chose the Alexandra instead of this. We rented a car at Grace Bay Car Rental. If you rent online you need 24 hours in advance or you can call them. They bring you the car and pick it up. You can also take the bicycle to Grace Bay Market. Which is about a 10 minute ride and safe to do so. We shopped for somethings here. I went to Sapodilla bay and Taylor bay which everyone was saying to go to but honestly I did not like it and there was nothing there. Our beach is so much better. I really enjoyed my week here and the staff was really pleasant. I hope to be back soon. Also take a few dollars and tip the staff. They really deserve it. If you have any questions I will be happy to help. Almost forgot Fish Fry is every Thursday and it is a 10 minute walk from the hotel very close.
