The description needs to be updated.

There was not a microwave or coffee pot in my room. There were no bathrobes either. If you want housekeeping you have to request it. They will shuttle you from the main building to your room but it can take a while (10-15 minutes) to get a ride. A lot of people rent golf carts that cost roughly $70+ a day. They are convenient if you want to go to any stores or restaurants away from the hotel. The foot at the hotel restaurant is good but you have to order your hamburger well done if you do not want it rare. They make good drinks and there is a 4-5:30 pm happy hour. The pool is 3-5ft and it was nice. The private island is nice with hammocks and a swing in the water and beds that you can rent. There is a nice bar and carry out food bar on the island. The guacamole was really good. Hope this clarifies what to expect.

    Amazing staff!

Beautiful resort and Friendliest staff ever. The private beach was a tropical paradise. Make sure to rent a golf cart and travel to Secret Beach and explore the small towns. Kimberly was amazing our whole stay. She was extremely personable and has a smile ready at all times. We absolutely loved her

Beach Club process not so relaxing, otherwise great.

Pros: • Dalton is the person who checked us in and out, and both times he was impeccable. Courteous, thorough, and professional. • The family bungalow was BEAUTIFUL. Spotlessly clean, lovely decor, quiet, comfortable, well-appointed, full kitchen with a huge water jug, and a great canal-side patio, A true paradise. • The sushi restaurant was excellent - great food and great service. • The seabeds (extra fee) were wonderful, if you are lucky enough to get one. • Free kayaks, paddle boards, and floaties at the beach club. Cons: • Breakfast service at the Great House was slow and disorganized, with some people's orders arriving 20 minutes after others, with the explanation that "the kitchen forgot our order." • It apparently doesn't matter if you took great care to reserve a space on the boat to the beach club, because they let people on who didn't have reservations and turned away people who did. They also randomly cancelled return boats, so if you were planning to return at a certain time and it was cancelled, you had to wait another hour for the next scheduled boat. • At the beach club, it was a mad dash to the reservation counter, as only the first few people would get a seabed for the day. The pictures of the seabeds were our reason for booking this property, so we were forced to run to the counter along with the other people desperate for a bed. This is not a relaxing thing to have to do on vacation, and there were some disappointed people who did not get a bed. There should be a less stressful way of ensuring a seabed (online reservations?), or better yet, more seabeds. Overall we are glad we stayed there because it is a dream locale and the people were very friendly. I think they could clean up the irritations with the beach club with a little organization.

    Amazing experience

This first time in Belize and staying at the most beautiful resort was the best experience! From everyone who worked there to the food it was the most outstanding service. I’m definitely going back with family. If you plan to visit Belize I high recommend this resort.

Disappointing in some ways but the staff is very nice.

The property is well kept but it is spread out and is NOT a beach front resort or hotel. The location is not that great and the hotel pool is not very big. They will take you to a private island where you can enjoy the beach but it is a 10-minute boat ride from the marina behind the main building. The staff is nice. Know if you book an upper level room you will have several flights of stairs to walk up. It is expensive for what you get and I did not find the description to be clear about the location. The ride from the airport was very congested with many golf carts, trucks and taxis trying to navigate the streets. There is a lot of construction going south to the Mahogany Bay Resort so the construction vehicles make the drive very slow.
