    Could have been better

They don't have much entertainment for the family. The pools and pool swim up bars close at 6pm which is to early. After dinner your not left with much to do. The rooms are not good. My refrigerator was broken my son had water dripping in the ceiling light. The lobby has one bar No indoor entertainment.

    Bougie not!

It took over an hour to check into the Diamond Club my room was nice but the service was awful. It took 1-5 hours to get anything from my butler. I didn’t get a wake up call on time nor did the bell person show up on time. The hotel tries to act upscale when it’s not. The service is bad and the food was terrible. I don’t care what others say. My food was always cold. I got a grilled cheese for late night snack and it was semi warm not melted cheese. I had a room was a leaky bathroom on day three they offered to give me a new room I just stayed. I won’t come back. I paid apx 600 per nite for a swim up pool. It’s not worth it. I will say the swim up rooms on the family side look nice . It overlooks a lady river

    First timer

Our first time to Jamaica and deciding on where to go was not easy read so many reviews and did a ton of research ultimately we didn't want a long drive from the airport to the hotel and we wanted water parks slides and so on. It was down to Hilton or Ocean Coral or Blue Waters . We settled here and can say we had a great time with no hiccups or trouble . Mini park and slides were easily accessible and the service from the beach was excellent . I fell in love with the lazy river myself . If you love good mixed drinks the bartenders are very good at what they do . Shawn and Ryan were our butlers and they were always helpful and deserved all the tips we could give . The rooms are decent size bed comfortable not perfect but just good enough . It was line for some food due to volume of folks we should of booked for ending April or May we will take notes . My children loved the place so we will return . We did book a few excursions with TCJTOURS they also did our airport transportation which we are happy to had reserved there drivers are the best and when you book everything you not planning you just get a message to pickup up they came high recommended so we will do the same . My favorite was Dunn's River Falls my children enjoyed the Dolphin Cove . We also went to see the famous Negril we see ads for and its a drive there but what a beauty maybe we book Negril in the future . I would say the biggest surprise was the hospitality and joy all around while we were there . Bring tips for them because the workers at the hotel go extra hard to keep us happy . There currency sucks so every bit counts .

    Such a good time

This was a last minute decision for us but I’m very happy that we picked this resort. Fast and easy check in, friendly staff . Great pool, beach and amazing activities my family and I loved it 😊 we also can’t forget about the performances and live band . The authentic Jamaican food was delicious too

Royalton dont care about customer service

This is the first hotel where i have encountered multiple of rude staff in Jamaica and i have been there 10 times however it is understandable when you realise how hard they work to only make a silly unreasonable wage. One of the highlights of my stay was a young man called dameian in the Sports bar along with wayne. They had great hospitality…. Don’t believe me go and type in dameian’s name (spelt different ways) and see how much positive feedback he has gotten from people of all ages and genders. Their service was so good i was going to overlook the poor food, poor service just to come back to see them again but unfortunately they have let him go. They obviously don’t read their reviews because for so many people to go out their way to say how good this mans service is and to let him go under unfair circumstances is a shame. Won’t be coming back here not worth my money. They need to fire their rude staff and not the exceptional ones! Dameian made mine and my families stay very special and i think it’s important to advocate for people they treat poorly. They had this man working 7 hours shifts by himself behind a busy bar multiple times while i was there but had 3/4 people at the martini bar working which is less packed. Hopefully dameian can find himself a better job where he is appreciated!
