    Great staff

    Beautiful resort. The staff are exceptional. From waking up in the morning for breakfast at kelidoscope with my favourite waitor Carlos. To playing volleyball with the entertainment staff. Dancing the night away with the entertainment staff. My favourite entertainers were El Meloso and Rhianna. They were great to get to know. Cant wait to go back !

    Very beautiful hotel great customer service, excellent facilities. Leonida was a special person with perfect customer service I really enjoyed his company. I would definitely come back. The coco cafe was out of this world great coffee great people in general

    Great Experience, Friendly Staff.

    My friend and I went here in April. I have made other reviews on other pages, I had an amazing time. The staff were very memorable for their kindness and the energy they bring to their positions. To note some of my favourites ; - El Meloso - Falcón - Rihanna - Fransisco -swim up bar - Sergio - swim up bar - Andres - swim up bar - Big Boy The dancers and entertainment staff in general were excellent. Another great thing about this resort, is that it is low key. Quiet at night, fun during the day. I love that all the restaurants are no res a la carte. Great spot, beautiful. I would return.

    Beautifull Beach and Vacation

    It was the best vacation ever!! The people that work there, the food, the beach, the pools!! everything is amazing! Since we got there, the workers at the hotel tries to please you all the time, making you feel so comfortable and special. Is a place and specially the hotel, you never want to leave, I wanted to be a few more day, it is like been in Paradise... I will recommend the hotel to friends and family. The people is so kind and friendly, there is so much to do at any time. The food is just like eating food from heaven... so delicious and so well done. I have to give a five stars to Fidel, Polanco and his team Julio dj tattoo from the entertainment... The explorers club is very nice for kids. I just love everything about the hotel, the beach is amazing, the gardens are also amazing. The pools are extremely clean. I´m mexican and I use to be around warm nice people, and I found out, Sunscape Coco Punta Cana is exactly what I like to spend my money and my vacation time. This is not a fancy and luxury hotel but it's worth the money. You will get what you paid for. If you want a better view the book the adults club.THE FOOD is vere varied!!! excellent as the people that work.

    It's so bad it's funny

    From beginning to end worst service compared to any resort in all countries we've been to. We got in early and asked if there was early check in they said no check in is 3 pm. After lunch we went back to 2nd floor check in room because that was the only air conditioned area in hotel. We sat there for 2 and half hours watching half dozen families get checked in and asked about it and again was told our room was not ready. Even at 3 pm it wasn't ready (for a party of 3 people.) Half hour later I ask again why we are waiting when they told us we would be checked in at 3 and the only woman staff there says it's only been 30 minutes what's the problem? I asked her if this is a 5 star hotel, then why are you acting like a 1 star hotel to which she looks up at me blankly. I'm thinking is this lady stupid? Next the bellboy takes us to part of the hotel that's on the opposite side of hotel then makes us walk all the way to the other side of property to our correct room/building, only to say "I'm sorry." At this point we're thinking the staff is badly in need of training. At the buffet the egg guy would lose count of 3 eggs I ordered and would give one of my egg to person in front and I'd have to wait for him to make another, every single time. (I won't get into how bad everything tasted- worst buffet on planet.) The coffee guy would forget to come after you ask for coffee, so you have to flag him down again or find another guy. We were walking up to the other buffet in hopes that food will be better only to be barked at by hostess telling us "NO! Adults only!" looking at our 15 year old son. "19 y.o. is limit" Then we overheard the next party with a 17 year old girl be let in. Wth? Lastly we asked for some towels and water on last day to which they never came. So called front desk again after dinner then some staff brings it with a pissed off look on her face hands the towels and throws the water inside the room on the ground then storms off! What the hell seriously! I won't even get into how more than half the staff are rude with this indignant attitude on their face when serving you. Apparently smiling isn't the norm at this hotel. We've been to many all inclusive hotels in various parts of Caribbean and Mexico but never experienced anything like this before. Is it Dominicans that have bad attitudes? At first we thought maybe it was the few individuals but that changed quickly when more than half the staff acts this way throughout our stay. Also they need to do something about all the stray dogs that live on the beach trying to interact with the tourists. Must be a good life for them but we didn't fly hundreds of miles to be cooling off as they do in the same waters with flea ridden muts also running around begging for food and attention of a 5 star hotel resort. The entire hotel is not clean. Many mosquitos. You have to be vigilant flies don't land on your food when dining. I've never seen drumsticks served at Brazilian churrasco, I thought that was pretty funny while swatting flies away from me. Oh yeah last thing, there are huge lines at every restaurant but once you finally get your table there are empty seats everywhere. It's the hostess that bottlenecks the place taking her sweet time walking everyone to their table and seats, and making sure she hands each and everyone their menu. Frustrating to watch standing at the door hungry for a minimum of 30 minutes every time LOL
