    Great trip!

My friend and I visited for our annual girl's trip over cinco de mayo! Last year we stayed at the Dreams in Punta Cana. We decided on this resort and immediately got nervous as we saw some bad reviews. I literally have no idea what the people are talking about as I had a very pleasant stay. When we booked we upgraded to be in the Preferred Club with a swimout. This was the first time that I have upgraded to the Preferred Club and for a swimout and it was absolutely worth the money.. especially if you are not bringing kids with. We only used the preferred club in terms of the pool. The bar is under construction but they had a cute pop-up bar in its place which had everything you needed. The pool was busyish but certainly not packed by any means! We used our swimout a lot and we lucked out with one on the end. The other swimouts I'm not sure if I would have liked as much as they are right by where people are always walking by. In terms of cleanliness our room was clean, the pool was clean, the resort itself was extremely clean, and so were the restaurants. The food overall was like typical resort food. However the sushi was absolutely spectacular. We ended up going there twice! The Mexican restaurant was fine but nothing out of this world. I love not making reservations for dinner which was great! Overall the service was really good as well. Everyone from the bellhops to the waiters to the bartenders were nice. The shows at night were entertaining. We did not swim in the ocean at all as everyday there was a red flag and I didn't really want to be taking any risks. They did a good job of keeping up with the seaweed- tis the season! I saw several reviews about how the seaweed smelt or was terrible but honestly our room was the closest room you could basically have to the ocean and we never smelt it. Even the people cleaning it up were not noisy or bothersome. I would recommend going to this resort- if you are traveling with just adults spend the extra and get the Preferred Access.

    World Cafe- great experience

Service at Dreams Natura was great. Each morning we requested Luis Gabriel Carrillo and his co-worker Santiago Montejo for breakfast at the World Cafe. Those two worked hard keeping my coffee filled and ran down mimosas (2-3) each day. We requested him daily for breakfast. It’s hard to find service like this at an all-inclusive. They deserve 6-stars, but the site only allows me to give them five.

    Mediocre

Based on other resorts, this one leaves a lot to be desired. From requesting cream for coffee taking very long - got milk at the end not coffee cream - to having the parents of the bride not being served their food at the rehearsal dinner until almost everyone was done eating.
